**Merged** What's going to happen to the RAW Main Event?

they are turning raw into smackdown and smackdown into raw bad move to send cena and orton to the b show, thoughts
 
Hate it, but whatever. I don't watch Smackdown so i'll just wait until they get sent back to RAW on the next draft. Sure hope Smackdown drafts Cole..
 
Cena and Orton should NOT be on the same show, IMO...bad move. They've been on the same show for far too long, whether feuding or tagging together. Now Jericho had better come back and fill those boots on Raw, or Raw is going to be lacking in top star power.
 
Okay, tonight both John Cena and Randy Orton got drafted onto Smackdown. This means that the two big draws and Main Event players in WWE are now off of the flagship show of WWE. With guys like Triple H, Edge, and Taker either retired or winding down their careers, this means that WWE has also very little main event talent to spare for both shows.

Basically, what do you think this means for RAW's main event scene?
 
Cena gone. Orton gone. Wow. Raw is gonna blow. All thats left is Sir Cole. And he gives everyone another reason besides orton and cena, to watch and look forward to Smackdown more than Raw now. WOW! Raw is gonna BLOW! What are they thinking. Smackdown needs to go LIVE now and stop taping so I cant read the spoilers. This is terrible. Only can hope for a trade. Or maybe Im dreaming. Good lord, Orton and Cena. Just cant believe it!!!
 
The only good things about this is that. Alberto Del Rio could go over the "faces" of the company. As well as The Miz could finally shine on Raw cause he is overshadowed by Rock, Cena, Punk, Orton, Cole and Jerry and more. So Miz could rule Raw and could become "The Man" I don't think that Cena and Orton should both be on the same show.
 
Cena wont stay on Smackdown long. If he's facing Rock next year at WM, theyll want him on the A-show to build it up.

I'll say it again, if Chris Jericho is going to make a comeback, Raw is going to be his show. Miz will stay on Raw and hopefully retain the WWE Championship. A Jericho/Miz feud would be simply fantastic. I also hope that Christian goes to Raw, as it would be a great opportunity for him.
 
Bad move to put both Cena and Orton on the same show. I thought the plan all along was to have them on different shows since they are the top two faces. Dk what Vince is thinking with this move.

I couldn't say it any better. It's a given that Cena will not stay on Smackdown, especially with Rock being on RAW after the PPV. They're going to build that match all year to try and set new records in PPV buys.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Cena drafted back tonight or 'traded' back like HHH was a few years ago for a handful of broken balls and future draft picks.
 
draft isn't over yet, one or both can be drafted back to raw.. They won't have rock on smackdown so no idea why Cena is there.. Maybe they will have Taker go to Raw..
 
well hopefully (if Orton and Cena STAY on Smackdown) WWE builds up younger stars like Morrison, Ziggler and whoever gets drafted to RAW and maybe for a change turn RAW into the Wrestling show which would make it more watched by older fans, but we will see i guess.
 
ya i was entirely confused when I saw orton go.

I had a suspiscion that orton would. Then I was like maybe vince will send cena to smackdown

Omg....everyone stays here complaining about how wwe always stays the same that they do nothing different blah,blah,blah...finally they do something different and unexpected, yet u still complain...and these are the same ppl who complain and say wwe always treats SD! As the b show...Jesus Christ give it a rest...maybe they're tryin to push new stars like all of u say they should have been doing...let it play out and see what happens

both is a little exreme, but I`m still happy I get to see the Viper again without having to tune into that awful red brand.
 
Im pretty sure that cena is gonna get traded back to raw much like HHH was back in what 04?

As much as i like the talent on SD, its just not cool having cena and orton and the same show.. i dont want to see anymore cena vs orton matches.

Cena should go and The Miz should be sent to SD! along with Jomo in exchange for cena.

BUT, this could be good for raw.. To build new stars on the biggest show.

Something tells me Triple H will return as a fulltime star on RAW perhaps to work with guys like Punk, Morrison, Ziggler, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, and so forth.

Another possibility is that the last Draft pick will go to RAW and The Undertaker will the big shocker.

I can see one last Draft pick going to Smackdown and picking Michael Cole so he can be a Manager to Jack Swagger. Both have great chemistry, I really hope it works so that it can make Swagger a star and not the other way around.
 
I kinda like the move. This should give some other guys a chance to step into main event roles that they might not have if Cena and Orton stayed on RAW.

Personally, I'm tired of both, esp Orton, and am glad they're going to Smackdown, a show I don't watch anyway.
 
Del Rio to Raw, for some reason i am thinking he will get traded back to Smackdown for Orton because he didnt look happy about leaving Smackdown.
 
I'm hoping that:

1) Miz stays on Raw
2) Christian is drafted to Raw, so that he can feud with Del Rio for the title
3) Chris Jericho comes back, to Raw

If 1, 2 & 3 happen, I am really not worried about the loss of "star power". Sure, I would have liked for Cena & Orton to have been kept apart, but all is not lost.
 
I see Del Rio and Cena winning the titles. It seems WWE wants some change so the titles might switch. Also, with Cena on Smackdown he will most likely go for the title and Christian is a face so a rivalry wouldn't make sense.
 
RAW right now has The Miz, Del Rio, Mysterio, CM Punk, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, John Morrison, a new heel known in the form of R-Truth.

I actually think RAW fared really well. If all of these guys were on Smackdown! people would say the roster is great, so I see no different from RAW.
