There is only one man that the Undertaker should have his last match against and it's against a man he has a long storied history with. His Brother Kane, hands down there is no one else he should have his last match against.

But if it's going to be an up and coming guy to end the streak, then I can think of it being someone who has laid a big time path of destruction that the company is really really high on. Sheamus, he had the match with Triple H so I can see him going next year with a big name and then Taker for his 20-0

i dont think the undertaker retiring is going to be like anyone else. It wont be a match with a stipulation where if he loses he is gone. I think it will be a Last Ride type of tour (like the wrestlemania revenge tour type stuff they have). It would come to a conclussion at Wrestlemania 27 or 28 with him defeating someone who is a star at that time. possibly even his "brother" Kane. As much as Id like to see him go 20-0 I just think that with the WWE having people leave every wrestlemania, I really feel he's next, as Triple H has probably 2 years left in him or so. All in All i really am hoping its not a loser leaves for good that would completely destory the Undertaker as a whole.

and PS- you cant kill the Undertaker, its been established for almost 20 years now u cant, plus with PG WWE that will never happen!

I think that Randy Orton will retire Undertaker, from what I have read they are very good friends and Taker wanted Randy to end the streak back when they had their match at Wrestlemania a few years ago but Randy didn't think he was worthy of that so it didn't happen. So if Taker wants the steak to end I think he will have Randy end it.

Well although it was very subtle there was a small hint towards The Miz building up an undefeated streak on Raw.

Next year I'd like to see them both win their respective matches putting Taker on 19-0.

That would set up a match for Mania 28 where The Undertaker defends his streak against The Miz who is looking to grab the torch and run with it.

I would have the Undertaker put Miz over massively during the match, yet still come out on top.

After the match he could congratulate Miz on his valient effort with a handshake etc and Miz could reciprocate and applaud Taker etc. turning babyface.

Undertaker could then grab the mic and tell the fans "creature's of the night, I have won my final battle, here you have seen the final act of the phenom, it is time for The Undertaker to Rest......in.......Peace"

I think Taker will be around for 2 more Wrestlemanias and if that is d case i'd like to see a match between him and john cena maybe at WM27 and with HHH at WM28. now i know taker vs HHH has happened at WM but that was not "the phenom" gimmick. i'd like to see a match between Wrestlemania's Phenom and the King of Kings as a farewell to Undertaker. also i dont mind seeing taker vs Sheamus as d last match coz i feel in 2 years Sheamus wud have become credible enough as a Wrestlemania opponent to Taker. whoever d opponent i see Taker retiring 20-0 and wrestlemania.

First of all, I think Taker's last match should be at Survivor Series. It should be a buried alive match. He should lose.

The character of the Undertaker needs to die, not retire. It's unfortunate, but I don't think Undertaker wants a big sendoff. I think he wants to protect the integrity of the character, and in that sense, he needs to die.

I agree with you 100%. I predict that the person to defeat the Undertaker and end his career will be John Cena, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind of this. The only other person I could possibly envision doing this would be Randy Orton, but if forced to choose, I'd say Cena.

It won't be at any Wrestlemania; Taker will retire, whenever it happens, with the streak intact. I see the Undertaker losing at a Summerslam in a few years time, in a casket match, or buried alive match, or something of this nature. No speech, no big send-off. He loses and is gone, maintaining the mystique of the character, killing him rather than retiring him. The next night on RAW he receives a tribute from his peers and a video tribute, but other than that, he's gone. Plus it keeps open the possibility that he could return someday, although I don't think he ever will.

Not just becuase I'm a Cena fan but it would have to be Cena. This is just like the Ric Flair and HBK retirements. Two of the biggest stars in the company with hothing to lose on the grandest stage of them all beats another person who's considered similar. Cena is on WWE's best right now and I would expect him to beat Taker which will just add to Cena's fame. Both men had a great feud back in like 2003, I would love for them to continue. It will most likely be in 28 ending in 19-1. if not cena i see a young star like Dibiase, not giving any crap about the legends and beats Taker. Miz who talks all crap and challenges Taker saying I will prove i'm awesome. Or Morrison who's like a carbon copy of Micheals.

I like the Buried Alive idea if his last match isn't at Wrestlemania. I don't really care who does it. The Miz would definitely be a good choice.

If his last match IS at Wrestlemania and the streak must end, I say let the man to do it be......Shawn Michaels. Taker ended his career, so let him come back for "one last try" and end Taker's career. Taker/Michaels III ending with Shawn coming out on top would be a great finale to the trilogy. Although I wouldn't be opposed to Kane ending it.

But, I think the streak should never end. I really don't see what the point would be because he's too far into it. Let his Wrestlemania legacy live forever with no losses.

what u all are failing to realize is that taker will be older than the year before, even in this years match against HBK he was steps slower than he was in 2009, so in his last match he is going to need someone that can carry the bulk of the match and i see the streak going to 20-0 with 20 being his last, so for the next 2 years taker will be taking lots of time off and resting his body. while mania 27 will have a good opponent im am sure the wwe is planning the opponent for win #20 as we speak, which the next 2 opponents would likely be one of the 3 (Jericho, Orton or Cena) cena is likely guarenteed to be one. In his last match he will not a face a middle of the pack upstart he will face a seasoned VET that can make him look like he still has much more than he does, unless one of the youngsters just all of a sudden rises as a big time player (the Miz) i cant see any of them getting the honor of losing to the taker. dont be surprised if its triple h either he had a great match against taker at mania 17 but that was 10 years ago but would make for a pretty decent story line

Its a shame Kurt Angle isn't still in WWE, he would have been perfect in my opinion to end the streak. Angle can carry anyone to a good match.

For me now though I say the Undertaker should retire with his streak.

On another note I loved how the Miz is trying to target the Undertaker's streak after one Mania win :D

It would have to be at Wrestlemania. Even if he would confront Vince tomorrow ad Say I want to retire, It's Certain he would let him take a break until two months before Mania next year. Vince and all of creative wouldn't let his retirement match Go to waste on any Other PPV. But I think it would be stupid to have him lose his streak on the night he Retires it. The way I see it is it would work wonders if somebody unstoppable and a heel Was to be the person in his last match. The Heel, (I know we have already seen it but What about Batista in his Current form? He (Or somebody else) Could go toe to toe with him all through the match, Until they lose the plot at the last minute and Start attacking him with Everything at the last minute getting the heel DQ'ed meaning Taker keeps his streak. After the match The heel, Continues beating up on Taker with taker fighting back until he has no more. Then have his druids Carry him out of the Arena to rest in Peace.
I don't know who would do it as Batista is the only Heel near Capable at the moment but...

I have to say Cena.

Put the biggest babyface of the past nearly 10 years agaisnt the biggest legend in the WWE on the grandest stage of them all will definitely draw. Both these men have huge fan bases so this match would really be a treat. As far as I'm aware Cena and Undertaker havn't faced off since Vengenace 2003 so a rematch is in order. How long will we have to wait? Who knows but the man to "retire" Undertaker is John Cena.

valid points by everybody i do like the suggestion that the undertaker should be buried instead of retired, and most def hhh has to be one of the guys as the storyline is already there for the feud. something tells me he will get to 20 and then go out in a buried alive match

hard choice this is, i cant even decide if the match should be at a wrestlemania or not, end the streak?.I also like the "buried alive" match so if Vince still wants to keep the streak intact they can go with that story line.

anyway as for the opponent:
edge or maybe randy, they have history and i have no doubt that can tear the house down and give a good retirement match to send the undertaker home happy.
kane, they have a lot of history these two guys and i know the story line would be good. maybe they can find a way to retire these two together. buried alive triple threat?

my "wont happen in a million years" choice would be Shawn Michaels. well its not like he would be going back on his word on wrestling his last match with taker.....much lol.
love to see Shawn and taker going at it again even if it is half the epicness they pulled off at wm 25&26. HBK can return as like a "angel of death, your time is up" guy.
.................shut up, a man can dream lol.

I think his last match will be at a wrestlemania. There is no more Survivor Series, so Mania is the best option. I don't care if he loses or doesn't. It is a streak that gain popularity once he went 10 and 0. If Cena did not lose 2 years ago, should he keep having a streak same with Edge? I mean it really does not matter. I would still watch the WWE product, and will not protest or hate some wrestler because he ended the streak. Why does he need to go undefeated? Him just the streak alone is legend, and it would never be broken. I fail to see why it would be such a bad thing if he lost. Either way I think John Cena will be his next opponent, and I think he will fight Ted jr. at Mania 28. it will be fitting to go out beating or losing to the son of the guy who brought you in.

I highly doubt it would be a main eventer, but more somebody looking to step into the main event. I don't know how long his retirement is going to be but if its say WM 28 then it should be an up and comer.
If it's sooner and at WM 27 then I just can't see Vince passing up the opportunity to have Taker v Cena for the gigantic buyrate.
I also wouldn't be suprised to Taker v Kane. You may knock the idea [and perhaps rightly so] but their feuds of the past have been epic and he's the only wrestler I see realistically breaking the streak.

I think the streak shouldn't end, period, just haave the undertaker retire after a retirement match at a different ppv other than wrestlemania, like survivor series, where undertakers career first started

I agree withyou on that, Taker shoundln't lose at the big one, just have him retire at a smaller ppv that still is a much watched one likeSummerslam or Survivor Series

I think it would be best if it all came to an end at Survivior Series (if it still existed or does still exist) because that's where it all started. As to who? Whoever the hot up and comer is at the time. If it was now I would say someone like Swagger, Sheamus, McIntyre or Miz but I don't see it being for another couple of years.

If taker has only a few wrestle-manias under his belt then I think his last few matches should be against: CM Punk, Chris Jericho and John Cena, with Cena being his last match; obviously him winning.

Last time I checked, there is no more Survivor Series.I keep seeing people put this, and I could have swore Vince said Survivor Series ran its course. Also, why does it matter if he loses at Mania? He would have an impressive record, and only the Undertaker will have that. I do not see how it will affect business or you personally if lost. What if he wants to lose? Are you same fans going to say NO Taker?

Why couldn't he pull a Fritz Von Erich and win the title in his final match? At Mania? Then we could have a tournament at summerslam to crown a new champ?

first off i think it wont be broke, but a fitting end would have him face a one time thing against goldberg next year and cena for 20-0, if there were one guy to beat him for the streak a young guy i would have to say the miz in a year or so he'll be at the me and imagine the bragging from the miz every year come wrestlemaina time. bottom line im sure it never gets ended

The streak will never be ended but he should definently have a few good ones left in him before he walks out the door i would say his last two would be against cena and probably punk but it all depends on the latter either way u can count on taker to put on a great match at mania till his last one

I feel like they will never let Undertaker lose at WM. if 'Taker has another 2 years of vacation-filled wrestling, I could see him retiring AT 20-0. I don't know if he can make it that long but I disagree with the idea that he will ever lose at WM. He can still help push a young guy over into stardom w/o losing the match. It can be a respectful ending like his interaction with HBK at WM26 weeks ago. Fans will still love the young guy, whoever it would be. And Undertaker can retire undefeated.
