Yea, I am a little fuzzy on the NAO cause I thought they sucked too much to pay attention to. Yea, I was actually at the RAW when HHH brought X-Pac in, so I suck for forgetting that HHH was there with X-Pac at the same time, which wasn't so bad. I just thought it was bad when X-Pac was the "main guy". I remember Rick Rude but he was only there a week or two and was gone before they were really starting their memorable antics.

Xpac was never the main guy you fucking dip shit, check your history or at the very least read wikipedia. And saying rick rude left before they started their memorable antics shows how idiotic you are, rick rude left after montreal, it was before montreal that the original DX could be said to be interesting, because that was when they had one of the best feuds going on with the Harts. I think you just have a hard-on for HBK which is why you have such a revisionist sense of history.

No I have a hard-on for good talent. X-Pac and NAO is nothing but pure dog shit and only hurt the faction. When you have HOF'ers like HBK and HHH starting a faction, then that is the faction's strongest point.

It depends on a few things. I think that the 1000th episode of Raw should be a mix of the past and the present and I hope that it doesn't turn into a strictly nostalgia show.

If it's just Triple H & HBK, I'll have no problem with them getting back together if it's just for a promo segment. I don't want to see them pulling some sort of stunts or ridiculous comedy skits. There's few things more painful to watch than two middle age men trying to act like guys who are half their age, especially when the stuff they'd pull would be so corny as to make you embarassed to be watching.

I doubt we'll see a full blown DX reunion. It's certainly possible that Road Dogg will be brought out as he's been working for WWE backstage for a while. I'd say Billy Gunn would show up if asked, as would Sean Waltman. Chyna won't be there, which is a good thing seeing as how she's nothing more than the punchline to a hundred different jokes. Not to mention the whole porn thing.

If it's just DX sort of celebrating the legacy of DX, I'm fine with it. If it's a bunch of corny nonsense that eats up half the show, then no thank you. With Raw going to three hours permanently with this show, that's not the kind of stuff you wanna present to the audience and make them wanna tune in next Monday.

I agree with all of this...and someone mentioned something earlier about X-pac coming out and telling HHH he didn't have it anymore, or something like that....those kinds of things would be cool. Nobody needs nostalgia the whole show, there was a RAW or SD a few months ago where a ton of old guys came out and beat up Cole, it really sucked. If they can somehow write a good mix of nostalgia with current stuff, while all the while continuing their current active storylines....it would be a good show

Are you ******ed? The time when they had HHH and HBK was what DX was all about. It was nothing but complete suck once X-pac showed up....people pretty much stopped caring about them then.

This is one of the dumbest comments I've read. People stopped caring? X-Pac, Dogg, and Billy joined the night after WM14. After that is when DX really blew up. Sure HBK and HHH were great and pushed the envelope further and further but nothing changed afterwards. When you have an arena full of fans screaming every catchphrase from Road Doggs intro, to lets get ready to suck it, to Billy Gunns if you aint down with that. People still cared, maybe you didn't. Sorry you didn't get to enjoy shit like the WCW invasion.

Oh yeah.. ANOTHER dx reunion...yawwwwwwwnnnn. Bring back the Original hart foundation. Demolition. They all can't do crap anymore but at least it's different.

I wouldd love to see this! DX was funny as hell for as long as i can remember and I would love to see them one last time and have them go out in style

I personally felt that DX was most complete when it was Triple H, Chyna, Road Dogg, Mr. Ass, X-Pac and — not to put HBK down or anything —*Shawn Michaels could stay or go.

I liked HBK best just before DX was in the picture and HBK was feuding with Bret Hart.

At this point I prefer Triple H and Michaels when they're acknowledging their history together without actually reliving it. Like how they were before the Taker match, that was perfect to me.

Even if they went the route of DX supposed to be "reuniting" but when they come out Triple H really isn't that into it because his mind is on the whole Lesnar thing. HBK could give him a pep talk and pump him up for it, remind him about how he's overcome bigger challenges than this etc.

Triple H and Michaels are at their best together in serious "I know you better than anyone" roles these days, and if they use the reunion to further the Lesnar angle then I'm all for it. But if they're just going to have them come out and make stupid jokes/banter back and forth like they're presenting an award at the Oscars or something, I'll pass

If you think the way they ran that WCW Invasion was "good", then you must have started watching wrestling in early 2001. It was one of the most poorly constructed angles in pro wrestling history (considering how well it COULD have been done). As far as fans screaming Road Dogg's catchphrases, they also "screamed" for the worm by Scotty 2 Hotty....good entertainment? :disappointed:

Do explain? How else could it have been done aside from going in to events and really getting arrested? They had WCW crowds chanting WWF and telling them they got their tickets for free. That was huge at the time and very entertaining. I'm not sure what you thought was good then because DX was right there at the top.

What would have been better is if WWF picked up the contracts of the main eventers of the WCW at that time, instead, they let their contracts expire, so the "Invasion" was full of crappy guys that nobody cared about. Then when WWE realized the angle was full of suck, they started having their own guys like Austin and Angle, etc, start switching into the other brands, which became ridiculous and not what a true WCW Invasion angle should have been.

I could be wrong, but I took his mentioning of the WCW invasion as when DX invaded Nitro although I see how it got confusing because even I am not sure which he meant. As far as the sale of WCW goes, the big stars had guaranteed contracts with Time Warner and chose to stay home and get paid. There was little the WWE could do aside from spending a shitload of money.

I CAN SEE IT NOW AND ITS PERFECT

The entire DX come together in the ring. They are celebrating, being funny as hell like usual, when Brock Lesnar finally makes his return.

What better way for Lesnar to "come back" then to take out the whole DX. Lesnar, with a little help of Heyman, takes out HHH, HBK, RD, BILLY GUN, AND X-PAC!

I really hope WWE does this! Its too perfect.

As for the question, of course I wanna see it. ITS F'ng D-GENERATION-X. Wether its the whole DX, or just Triple H and Shawn, they are funny as hell and always nice to see.

I wouldnt mind seeing DX come back for one night. Its a celebration of what RAW has become after all and DX did play an instrumental part in the development of the brand. With all the "hype" surrounding the New Age Outlaws and XPac being in WWE 13 I think they'll be making an appearance as well, maybe even having a role in the Triple H/ Lesnar rivalry.

Yea, in the context of his post you are probably right, he meant when DX went after the WCW show. And I may have my timeline jacked up, but when they did that, I thought it was HBK and HHH....if that was during the X-pac era then I apologize, because that was a great angle and I thought it happened early on in the whole DX existence.

I am a huge DX fan. Huge. I am talking about the original to. HBK, HHH, Chyna, and Rick Rude, though he didn't last long. That being said we got the DX reunion a few year back, and honestly I think they should leave it at that. They are getting a bit old to be doing that routine now. It got stale at the end and my God they even added Swoggle. I love you DX, but that time has past.

If it means they eat into the on screen time of over rated bores like Ziggler and Rhodes then yes, please lets see D-X once again.

Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but I tweeted @TheRealXPac to ask if he may be involved in the 1000th Raw, and he tweeted me back saying:
"@TheRealXPac: @Harry_McMullen No one has called me in regards to the 1000th episode of Raw. Just to set the record strait."
The New Age Outlaws might appear though, but I have a feeling it may just be a small segment backstage where they and Shawn Michaels see Triple H in his suit and rib him about it.

I think the HBK/HHH version of DX still has a chance, but I am hoping they don't do their old "Hey look at us. We're grown men acting like kids." That part I hated.

As for which version of DX I liked: I liked both. The first version with HHH/HBK/Chyna/Rude (for a little while) was good.

But the version HHH formed the RAW after HBK lost the belt to Austin was also good. And I think that version was more popular because it was during the Attitude Era. Hell, X-Pac could have pissed on the mat and people would have popped. EVERYTHING was getting over in that time.

That being said, I don't want the DX (HHH/HBK) to come back in any form.

No.

The original DX started in August 1997 -- so basically 15 years ago. If they hadn't reunited a half dozen times since then, maybe it'd be interesting. Maybe having the New Age Outlaws come out sans HBK and HHH would be interesting too. But I have absolutely no interest in seeing Shawn and Triple H reunite yet again as some sort of weird nostalgia act. If I want to flash back, I'll just look up old clips on YouTube.

Absolutely. Hornswoggle was never a real part of DX. He was just a stupid storyline mascot and the best was when they superkicked and pedigreed his worthless midget self right out of the group.

I'm sure it would just be Triple and Shawn, but as X-Pac and Mr. Ass aren't doing much, Road Dogg is already there, why not bring them all back? I doubt Chyna gets the invitation but it would be a great way to bring back Billy Gunn to WWE TV.

A New Age Outlaws renunion? Immediately the best tag team in the WWE.

With RAWs milestone 1000th show coming up, and the release of Takers new DVD "The Streak" release around the same time, is it safe to say we may hear "the gong" go off during the show? Maybe he'll make a full fledged return, maybe just a special appearance?

Your thoughts?

Of course! My only requirement is that we don't see that fake Hornswoggle, cartoon, corny DX. For one night, can we get the adult version of DX?
I have a feeling the answer is, "Not as long as Linda is running for the Senate."

Anybody else remember the last "one-day" DX reunion, back in 2002, which ended about two minutes after it started with HBK on the receiving end of a half-hearted Pedigree (I think Michaels was legit hurt and HHH didn't want to make it worse)?

Speaking of "not remembering," probably the one thing that would cause me to have a MTFO moment is if they were to bring Droz out. I don't remember him ever appearing on WWE TV after the match that paralyzed him.
