A stable with R-Truth would be fine for me... However the original poster's idea seemed too much like the J.O.B squad stable for my liking..

I do think that the N.O.D stable could potentially work, but I wouldn't force it on truth right now... I'd see how he does as a heel as a single first... (and so far his first promo did pretty damn well..) If however a stable is needed, I'd go with truth, Zeke, Mason Ryan, Abraham Washington (as the manager...I miss them..) and potentially kofi kingston... (He's over right now, but I'd like to see him turn heel to see if he could be even greater...) If not kingston, I don't know who'd id add as the fourth wrestler to the group... Even without it however, I think I'd have truth go for one of the mid card belts (IC or US champ) while having zeke+Ryan go for the tag belts (and feud with show/kane, nexus, the corre, etc..)

I knew that once Truth was actually given something to work with he would blow people away. The heel turn was great and the promo tonight was just as good. He drew more heat tonight then most heels on the WWE roster are capable of drawing. Great crowd interaction as well. Hopefully this leads to something meaningful because he has the capabilities of being a top heel. I actually wouldn't mind him being moved to Smackdown because they are in need of heels and RAW is crowded at the top with Miz and Del Rio.

Why did Mark Henry turn heel all of a sudden?Mark Henry was drafted to smackdown tonight also. Why all of a sudden did creative decide for R-Truth's heel turn before the draft? Also keep in mind. Raw already has 3 top heels(Cmp,The Miz & Del Rio) I smell a new nation forming.

WWE cant do stables properly. They never let them get long term heat, and let them get beat down a week later. Plus most members of these stables are clowns who cant be taken seriously. Every member of core with hair, for example has a lame boy band hair cut, and you just cant take them seriously as bad ass.

If they gave truth some bad ass members, like mark henry who no matter what you think of him, looks bad ass, and let them run riot and destroy everyone for months, then that would build some strong credibility, and then the opposition to such a faction would gain a strength. But Vince has lost the plot years ago so that wont happen.

I think the new Truth is great! Sounds stupid but I'm a smoker too so when that started it was just like "ha even in WWE smokers get a lil rep." AND his promo last night was great!

R-Truth is finally interesting.

As a face, I was bored stiff by him. The "What's up" schtick, the coming out dancing with Eve, the ridiculous promos, he was one of my least favorite wrestlers. When he turned on Morrison last week, I wondered what the WWE was going to do with him, and I have to say, I liked what I heard last night. I think this is a much better persona for him to have, it seemed more natural sounding. Some guys are better at being a face, some guys are better at being a heel. I think Ron Killings might just be one of those guys.

I thought the Truth promo was really good last night. He didn't do a normal heel promo that most of the other heels do that you can tell was written by the same person and given to him. I really liked how he actually reacted to all of the crowds chants like telling them they where pissing him off with the "WHAT?" chants. His whole Little Jimmy thing was a little strange and I thought it was funny how the camera angle kept changing to show there was no one in front of him and that he wasn't actually talking to anyone.

So far it looks like the heel turn is going to work out very well for Truth. Atleast now people are talking about him in a good way and I liked his heel work 100% more then him as a face.

I liked the promo he cut on Raw tonight a lot. He seems to feel more comfortable in this role than he did as a face so I'm glad they made the switch. He had the fans eating out of his hands and he got some legit heat that no one else has got in quite a while. Truth is interesting for the first time in his WWE tenure, and I'm really happy to see it.

The promo is on YouTube if you havnt seen it, dunno how long it will be up. Fantastic work as I expected, worked the crowd perfectly! I hope the haters have seen it and will think twice before doubting Ron Killings' ability on the stick again.

is it just me, or if Cena had done the same promo he would still have been over as superface Cena.. i mean the whole little jimmy thing reminded me of cena and the rock and mini cena... could this be testing the water for cena, who has an awfully similar face gimmick to truths to turn heel, wait.. never mind Cenas White.... he couldnt go evil gangsta could he... and that the whole truth.

been very impressed with truth, his popeye impersonations are quality. all he needs now is a tin of spinach

the draft didnt help him at all though as you have to realisticly put ADR ahead of him and with punk and miz its getting a bit crowded for top heels. unless of course miz starts his obvious face turn. morrision is clearly getting dropped from the main event as hes going to be feuding with truth

saying all that though, truth does now atleast stand a chance of doing something meaningful even without a title in sight at present

I thought his promo last night was really funny. He worked the crowd, changed his facial expressions, adjusted on the fly and kept it rolling. There's nothing funnier than a charismatic and crazy black man making idle threats. He reminded me of Eddie Murphy's Black Panther character from SNL minus the racist rant. haha

Then Morrison had to come out and ruin the interest.. At least he didn't talk with his month last night.. Just shitty strikes.

I have never been a great fan of Truth but I have never been a hater. He is a solid mid carder in my opinion who is no slouch in the ring and isnt bad on the stick.

Truth caters well for the child audience, I think thats why he got alot of unwarranted flack by the IWC. He always seemed to get good pops on TV so he i pretty marketable.

There was a few on here saying he was on the chopping board. I didnt see it, again because he caters for the kids. He is pretty diverse too as we saw last night.

Good luck to Truth, I thought his promo was great last night. The only thing that worrys me is Raw seems to have alot of heels. I just hope he gets his chance to shine and isnt lost in the shuffle. So far, so good!!!

(ps loved the crazy black guy comment by one poster, spot on)

I was a big fan of Truth's promo last night. I've been an R-Truth fan for years now and I've been saying that this is exactly what he's needed to do in order to freshen up his character. He did a GREAT job working the crowd and drew massive heat. I swear I actually got pissed off when Morrison interfered.

I can see bright things in Truth's future but RAW is fairly crowded with heels at the moment. I hope he doesn't get lost in the shuffle because this is the most interesting Truth has been in the longest time.

All I know about Truth's heel turn is that I've gone from an ardent R-Truth hater to a HUGE fan in the course of a week. His facial expressions are spot on, and his promo from last night was incredible. "Y'all are starting to piss me the hell off" is legitimately the most controversial thing that has been said by someone not named The Rock in years.

But can he deliver in the ring during the biggest push of his career? I can't really point to any R-Truth match I would deem a classic, but I'm of the mind that any wrestler can deliver a good match with the right opponent. We'll see, hopefully him and Morrison can man up and manage to put together some interesting television.

Is it just me, or do I see more of the possibility of a possible "Nation" stable after the Supplemental draft?

In the supplemental draft, Raw acquired Kofi Kingston, JTG, and Raw already has Michael Tarver, who they're not doing anything with.

Kofi Kingston has been a face for the entirety of his WWE run and, in my estimation, his character has been dull since the end of the feud against Randy Orton. I can easily see R-Truth "persuading" him to see his way and turning him heel.

The same situation can be said about JTG. Without Shad, he's been floundering around the lower-card, with no one really giving a damn about him. Character-wise, he's not all that different from R-Truth so turning him wouldn't be that difficult either.

And then there's Michael Tarver. I like Tarver. I think he has a good look to him. And what has he been up to? Nothing! I'd like to see him added to this "New Nation" as an enforcer-type, personally.

Or maybe I'm looking too much into the Supplemental Draft?

I think this is the best possible move for him. What a performance from a guy who gets critiscised a lot for his "boring" and "un-polished" mic skills. He really worked that crowd and had them going. I can now really visualise him as one of the top heels in the company if he can keep it up over the coming weeks. He definately deserves it as he has been around for the best part of the last 10-15 years. The heel turn has really injected new life into his character and created a lot more interest now from the fans.

This new found gimmick, great mic skills along with good in-ring ability is going to be great to watch in the near future i reckon!

Thoughts???

No doubt he was good, but he went on a little to long and was a bit too repetitive. I get it, the past 10 years for you have been all about the fans...move on.

I enjoyed his interaction w/the live crowd, especially when he told them "You are pissing me the hell off!"

I liked when he talked to the imaginary boy, Jimmy on the stage. But I think it would have been better if the WWE would have put a plant in the crowd and let R Truth do a "real interaction."

I never thought I'd say this, but I am interested in R Truth.

I thought Truth's first heel promo was great. I'm actually starting to see Truth in a whole different light and, now, I find myself looking forward to the next time I see him. It's amazing what a good character change can do for a wrestler.

I think going the route of Truth being a disgruntled veteran that's bitter over where his career has gone as a result of trying to be a crowd pleaser is the perfect fit for him. It works because, at least to some degree, you can feel that there's at least some shred of truth to it. Truth's been singing & dancing and doing all this stuff for several years in WWE and it's gotten him squat. I thought his promo came across as authentic and I loved the crowd interaction. "Ya'll pissin' me off" just felt so damn authentic to me. I'd like to smack Steve Austin right in his big bald head for coming up with that "What?" shit. That stuff gets seriously annoying. Truth's "Little Jimmy" speech also came off great in my eyes as, again, it just had an authentic feel to it and it just goes hand in hand with Truth being a bitter ex fan favorite that blames his desire to please the fans, hence he blames the fans himself, for his own career shortcomings.

In some way, shape or form I look for Truth to play a role in costing John Morrison the WWE Championship this Sunday at Extreme Rules.

LMAO its amazing to me how according to you people he goes from, he's the second worst mic workers other then JoMo, to he's one of the best mic worker and heels in the company, IN A SPAN OF ONE WEEK. LMAO.

But in all seriousness he caught me off gaurd. He impressed me big time. Now im not going to say he's a top heel yet because i still have to see how his ring work is, and also if he can keep delivering promo's like that on a consistant basis. But all in all i was very impressed.

Ill admit, I was already a fan of Truth before his heel turn. I thought as a face he still worked the crowd pretty well and thought he was severely underused. However, I thought his heel turn was really well done and his bit on RAW was surprisingly well done. It was a little long, but its not like I was looking at the clock going "GAWD IS THIS OVER YET?!" like I do whenever Cole gets on the mic.

Im really looking forward to the new heel Truth, hopefully he wont be as under-utilized as he was before.

Personally I've always been a fan of Truth, but his heel turn has really opened my eyes to what he can be. As some have mentioned before a stable may be the direction they should take Truth if done right. I don't mean failures like the Corre and new Nexus, but a dominating force like how Evolution was or a modernized version of Nation of Domination.

They already have three guys on Raw that would fit. JTG, Michael Tarver, and Kofi. I really don't think JTG, or Tarver can make it on their own right now so a stable could benefit them tremendously. As for Kofi he's pretty much stuck in the same position he has been in for awhile. A heel change may do him some good. Anyway I guess we'll see what happens in the coming weeks.

Yeah man it disgusts me how theyre doing Michael Tarver. Dude is good on the mic and in the ring, but they push guys like Del Rio ? who isnt even over with the crowd. This is what pisses me off. The WWE gives world title to the wrong people way to quickly. They gave it to shameus to fast, now theyre trying to make del rio champ ?which he has done nothing to deserve to even be a main eventer.

I hate to brag, but I knew he would be a great heel. I was thinking he should of gone heel and been your typical gangster thug. The same gimmick someone like John Cena could do going heel.

R-Truth just look at that face... it has heel written all over it.

I'm glad my thoughts came true and they seem to be panning out pretty good.

I liked R-Truth as a wrestler, he has a really individual ring style, but I hated his gimmick, even as over as it was. Currently I'm loving R-Truth's heel turn but as much as I hated the previous gimmick, I don't think his heel turn would have gone over as well as it has if it wasn't for the previous young-demographic gimmick.

Troof has gone beyond "heel turn", it's involved a gimmick turn as well and has really freshened his character up.

I think the next stage for WWE to avoid this being messed up is actually avoid over-promoing it, as weird as that sounds. JoMo is no king of the mic, as much as I like him, and I think this angle doesn't necessarily help either Truth or Morrison to bring out the best in each other.

A match between the two? Exciting, if a little spot-heavy. I think Morrison/Truth shouldn't be dragged out any longer than, say, the next PPV (after Extreme Rules). The way it goes down is predictable but that's alright. As long as we don't have to sit through three months for this rivalry, I'm cool with it. Both need to move on to feuds where their opponents can help them improve.
