I agree actually, always thought that the films should be played out differently, which is why I find myself more of a fan of superhero films than most other people familiar with the original source material. It's something new.

You're missing the point, here. A studio cannot fully expect to re-start a franchise, with promises that it would make all of us happy who grew up with said franchise, hand it over to a director who gets hardons for massive explosions where they don't belong, destroy what we know to be canonical, and not get called out on it, or pissing us off. Using my CK reference, if they were to hand that over to Bay, he'd have Kane die in a huge explosion, and there'd be no reference to Rose Bud. Instead of Chaplins great monologue at the end of Dictator, he'd have bombs dropping and flames everywhere.

I think you're missing the point on the fact that I agree that the movies are shit and Bay himself is one of the top five most talentless directors to ever disgrace hollywood.

Criticize all you want, but do it for the right reasons: Shitty acting, story, visuals, direction, almost everything else.

Not because they didn't make the movie you wanted it.

Actually in all honesty, it was like, half of a prosthetic limb. I guess she was in a car accident when she was like 9 and her leg was torn off about halfway down the shin. Good looking girl and I never would have known that she was stubby on one leg if she hadn't of told me. Well maybe I would've suspected because of the slight limp.

I haven't read through the entire thread, mainly because my thing is still on 10 posts per page. And I have no clue (or desire to care) how to change it. Anyways..

I thought Megan Fox's character was more or less the core of the Human's in this movie. Without her, no one would give a shit about Sam. Without her, I'm almost sure they only individuals who'd care to see this movie are kids and nerds who love Transformers.. only to be disappointed in their own rights.

Personally, while with or without Fox I'll still enjoy the movies. (because I liked Transformers, and unlike some in this thread I also enjoyed the 2nd movie)

Now then, I read something about the possibility of bringing in Unicron. If this happens, then I doubt it'll matter who plays who as far as the Human roles go. Because, guess what, it won't revolve around them.
