Matt Morgan Injured?

Joe's Gonna Kill You

The Hunt is On
According to Prowrestling.net Matt Morgan has a pectoral injury that will force him to miss 6 weeks of action.

If Morgan really does have to miss this much time from this injury how would you replace him the BFG Series where he is currently in 3rd Place and what particular wrestler would who like to see him replaced with?

I'm not sure if I would replace him at all. If he is able to compete in a short match, I would have Joe go over him with submission and refuse to let it go. Joe would get some much needed points in the BFG series and Morgan could be written off of TV for a few weeks. They could do video packages about him during his recovery and it makes Joe look ruthless in the process.

When Morgan recovers, I would have an elimination fatal four way with points being on the line with each elimination. I would have Morgan in this match and eliminate al least two people, maybe even all three. He would talk after the match about how he wants his revenge on Joe, who has been on a roll since beating Morgan. That sets up a match at the PPV where Morgan wins and gets his revenge. He will be right back in the hunt for the BFG series and give Samoa Joe something to do for a few months.

Personally, Call me crazy, I'd like Bobby Roode to come back and get in 3rd, 2nd, or 1st. He's a great wrestler and possibly my favorite Superstar in TNA (he's tied with Austin Aries, but i digress.) The fact that he has the Arm Injury makes him an Underdog, and him getting in the top 3 would be an amazing feat. It's been a while since he's been established as a Singles wrestler, and with a victory over The Pope and Samoa Joe in the triple threat match, the only way to go is up. If he made it in the top 3 at least, i'd be satisfied. If not, that's understandable. But think about it.

I don't think they will replace Morgan. I'd have someone assault him like Joe, Gunner, or Crimson and take him out. Six weeks still gives him time to rack up some points before the PPV before BFG (No Surrender maybe?). Morgan was my pick to win this and he still has a good chunk of points that he can still get into the final four and still win the thing as I believe he will be back somewhere towards the end of August or the beginning of September.

I'm not sure they will replace Morgan because his recovery time may enable him to come back in time and rally back. If he was replaced the other guy would start off with zero points and have a huge hill to climb, just ask Joe.
Now with that in mind, assuming he was replaced there are a few options on the roster. Daniels doesn't seem to have anything going on currently, and although EVERY member of fortune would be in the series, it could continue the Destination X dynamic of the two best friends A.J and Daniels competing only this would be for a title opportunity.

But knowing Hogans love for Abyss I could see them putting him in the series. Either way replaced or not I just hope this series ends with Roode or Gunner getting the win. There is an awful lot of time to build both of these guys up before BFG.

This means someone else will climb into the 3rd spot which most likely will be Roode or RVD.

I'm sure he will be healed by No Surrender.

This sucks for Mr. Morgan and me since he is one of the two people I picked to win the BFG series. I'm not even going to pretend to know or speculate on what TNA should do, but he could be back within a good amount of time to make up points and get back into contention if they simply just even it out more by having the top guys lose to the guys that are at the bottom of the pack to even out the scoring, don't know if they would do that cause that would mean that Crimson would have to lose a few matches and I don't see that happening now.
