Former WWE and TNA star Matt Hardy announced on Monday that he's going to rehab, but it's been revealed today that he was arrested once again last week (9/14) after his home was raided and illegal drugs were found.

Hardy, 36, has been charged with possessing a controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver, possessing a controlled substance, maintaining a drug dwelling and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a release today from the Moore County Sheriff's Office.

The search at Hardy's home on Sept. 14 turned up 20 vials of anabolic steroids, the drug MDMA (Ecstasy) and $1,961 in cash, the release said.

In case you are losing track of all Matt Hardy's arrests, this is the third time Matt Hardy has been arrested in less than a month.

Hardy was released today on a written promise to appear in Moore County court on Thursday.

I'm not sure what to make of this. Did he decide to rehab after this arrest or what...

Hopefully he keeps with a workout in there. I've seen people after rehab and they took to food, got fat as shit.

God the drug laws in this country suck. I highly doubt anyone was profiting off of those drugs or that home other than Matt Hardy alone. Infact I'm pretty sure all of those drugs are for his own personal use. Which obviously is still illegal, but holy fuck I hate all the silly trumped up charges that get thrown on addicts from police these days. They make it sound like Matt was running a high class opium den or something, what in the FUCK is a "drug dwelling" and how does one's home qualify as that? Is my home a "drug dwelling" because I have a bong?

I wonder how the cops knew? Oh yeah, everything that has happened over the past few weeks and years made this pretty obvious.

Jeff had the same intent to sell or deliver charge against him. I think these guys intended on ingesting all this shit themselves. They just like to buy in bulk.

Honestly, is anyone surprised by this?

Honestly, yes a little bit. Not because he had steroids, I was sure of that already. But the fact that he gets busted with this shit after he's already been busted for 2 DWIs in less than a month is a little surprising.

You know as much as I hate to say it, I think this is him reaching out asking for help. I don't think he knew how to ask for it, and this is his way of getting "help". Maybe? Shit idk, or he just wanted to roid rot his brain quick.

I'm not surprised by Matt Hardy going to rehab or by him being in possession of all those drugs after the disturbing events of the last month. None of that surprises me, I've grown used to seeing people, especially famous people, spiral out of control. I am by no means neutral to it, but it's commonplace. The funny thing about the Matt Hardy situation is that I actually genuinely care. Some of my earliest and favorite wrestling memories contain Matt Hardy. He was always the Hardy I thought would keep himself secure, the one who wouldn't make mistakes, get arrested, do drugs, etc. Jeff was always the problem, so it never crossed my mind that Matt Hardy would go down the same path.

It saddens me to see another human having to suffer through an addiction, especially one that I looked up to growing up as a kid that loved wrestling. Matt seriously needs help and I'm happy that Reby Sky finally took it upon herself to get some help for him by calling the police, I'm happy the WWE stepped up to the plate and offered to help cover the rehab costs, it's another wrestling death that we won't have to see. Matt Hardy doesn't have to be another statistic, I don't want to see that happen to anybody, this is a blessing.

I'm sure there are people out there that will rag on Hardy about this, there always are. I'm honestly not interested in what they have to say. This is one of those times that they need to put their Hardy hate aside. I'm sure we won't have any impact on Hardy's recovery, but just a sliver of respect for the guy would help. He is a man in need, I can see that, so can most of you.

Get the help you need Matt. Best of luck.

what a shame....i mean all those steroids and drugs and the most amazing thing he did was an elbow or legdrop from the second rope.

There's proof he did more. Not only that, but those elbows and legdrops take a toll on your body over the years, why does Hulk Hogan BARELY walk around the ring anymore? All he ever did was a legdrop, right?

With intent to sell or deliver I assume they found baggies and weights too? Stupid move by Matt. Doing drugs at home for your own private use I am not against, in fact I think the laws for it is stupid. People should be able to do whatever the fuck they want (as long as your above age) in the privacy of their own home when it comes to drugs and alcohol. But when they get you on intent to sell you never know how many minors got a hold of that stuff.

With all the shit Hardy has been in he should have known better than have that shit laying around. It was his own stupid fault and it's ashame. I really hope he can straighten himself up and get better physically and mentally. I would love him (and his brother) to have one last great run at top in the WWE.

(I know this is a bump...but I haven't been following wrestling news much in the past year outside of Wrestlemania. I live in the past in the Old School forum, lol)

How is Matt Hardy doing these days? Anyone know?

It seems Jeff is clean right now, which is good....but what about Matt?

Depends on his current diet - steroids or food? He could be 265 lbs. of lean, drugged-up steel, or 365 lbs. of pure, disgusting fat. Either way, I wouldn't be shocked.
