Royal Redemption?

Thanks to his nemesis, Mr. McMahon, Triple H has a second chance at the Royal Rumble. But what is the Chairman up to and why would he give one of the men he hates most another chance at glory?

Mr. McMahon had The Game where he wanted him. Thanks to William Regal causing his disqualification loss to Ric Flair, The Game was out of the game. Triple H was out of the Royal Rumble Match and a potential opportunity at a World Championship match at WrestleMania XXIV – an honor the Chairman knows The King of Kings covets more than anything.

The Cerebral Assassin may want to beware. If Triple H wins his match on Monday night, he will be in the Rumble, but the Chairman wouldn’t divulge the identity of his opponent. He wouldn’t reveal what type of match Triple H must compete in. (WATCH)

Knowing Mr. McMahon’s loathing for The Game, the challenge certainly won’t be easy. Who will the Chairman use as a roadblock to Triple H’s Royal Rumble dreams? And is he really giving him another opportunity or just setting him up?
Sweet Chin Music or a Mic Check in HD

Also on Raw, Shawn Michaels and Mr. Kennedy will tangle once again. Even before he won his Royal Rumble qualifying match last week against Trevor Murdoch, Michaels was chomping at the bit to face off against his rival. This week, not only does The Showstopper get the chance to battle the Green Bay, Wis., native, he also gets to do it in HD when WWE broadcasts the match in high-definition. Will HBK lull Mr. Kennedy to sleep with crisper, clearer Sweet Chin Music? Or will the self-proclaimed “Future of Sports-Entertainment” throw Michaels a sharper Mic Check?
Rivalry Reaches New Heights

In other Raw action, Jeff Hardy was out for revenge last week when he squared off against Randy Orton in what was supposed to be an Intercontinental Championship match. Instead, after a low blow from Orton, Hardy lashed out at the Legend Killer and took his skills to new heights – literally. The high-flyer climbed a rigging tower and dropped an incredibly dangerous Swanton Bomb onto Orton, sending both men out of the arena on gurneys. Just how far is Hardy willing to go to avenge his brother, Matt, after Orton punted his head? And just how will Orton respond to the challenge?

Find out all this and more when WWE goes HD for the first time as Raw emanates from Hampton, Va., live on USA Network at 9/8 CT.

Big Show. If not that, then some sort of stipulation that Triple H wins anyway. I'd much, much rather see Big Show. It makes more sense. That way, they can start a mini-feud for the next couple of weeks. Triple H doesn't have anybody else to feud with on Raw.

Yeah but Big Show isn't going to just come back and lose his return match. No way. Triple H is winning and going to the rumble which makes me think McMahon, Manga or maybe Khali.

It won't be Big Show, it makes zero sense.

Prolly.

He's winning the Rumble and belt at Mania anyways, I don't know why they make it so obvious.

It won't be Show, I've read that they arn't gonna bring him back until AFTER the Rumble, cause they don't him to look like just another guy in the Rumble...he also most likely has some Ring rust, so he'll need a few more weeks t get used to things again, not that it'll matter, Show sucks anyway

No he doesn't.

Then why hasn't anyone noticed him being gone this past year, I never heard a single person mention that they miss Show...he sucks, and is forgettable..the guy only has one real move, the chokeslam, for fuck sake Cena does more in a match than Show

I never heard a single person mention that they miss Show

Luther, CM and me.

he sucks,

One of the best big men to ever step in a ring. He's loads better than these sacks of shit Khali, Henry and fucking Big V.

and is forgettable

Meh, so was RVD and people jump on his nuts.

..the guy only has one real move,

Not really.

the chokeslam, for fuck sake Cena does more in a match than Show

Errr..Cena's alot smaller too. Go back, watch some WCW when the guys not got 500 pounds of biscuits in his belly, he really isn't that bad.

he will be the best big guy they got besides Kane...lumbering big guy I mean, Umaga has a catergory all to himself, cuz he is the shit...

Umaga is a fucking god. Too bad ya' boy Trips buried him:p

JBL's gotten tubbier, he should count as one of those fat sacks of shit I was talking about.

you know, i was juuuust about to make a comment about how much I like JBL on the commentating table (im watching WM 23 right now) and how terrible he is in ring, I just really wish he had never came back to the ring :(...

and fuck yes Umaga is the shit...might be right up there with shelton benjamin and Lashley as far as physical, athletic gifts go....I hope they put the belt around him someday, if only for a short reighn...

speaking of my veiwing of WM 23, how can u watch the undertakers entrance from across the ring and not just sit there and think to yourself "maaaaaaan....FUCK...."

Luther, CM and me.

LOL, CM agrees with everything you say, so he doesn't even count, so that leaves two people, and when exactly did you mention that you missed him, before it was announced he was coming back

One of the best big men to ever step in a ring. He's loads better than these sacks of shit Khali, Henry and fucking Big V.

Pfft...Please dude, who the fuck isn't better than those pieces of shit

Meh, so was RVD and people jump on his nuts.

Yeah , that would explain the huge pop he got at the anniversary show:rolleyes:

Not really.

Really...so what else does he have then?

Errr..Cena's alot smaller too. Go back, watch some WCW when the guys not got 500 pounds of biscuits in his belly, he really isn't that bad.

So, if Show is so great he should be able to do more, I don't expect him to fly all over the ring, but danm, something more than a chokeslam would be nice...WCW was a very long time ago, no one will remember him for his stint there the majority of his career is in WWE that is what he will be remembered for, and he hasn't done anything special, when was the last time he even had a decent match?

Show sucks end of story

Lol, Justin I was shitting you man. I hate all superheavyweights. They are pointless garbage. You should know that.

Pollywally, your my hero BTW.

Although it is nice he dropped some pounds.

Fuck that. Worst WM ever possibly. God it was awful.

I just watched Wrestlemania 19. Greatest ever IMO.

The McMahon/Hogan street fight is underrated, for two shit wrestlers they had that crowd marking out like crazy.

nah not worse than 12...or 10....

I cannot for the fuckin LIFE of me find the WM 19 dvd ANYWERE..ive never seen it..I want to so bad, everyone talks about how great it was...

BUT I have seen the Hogan Mcmahon street fight from Hogans anthology, and that match WAS fuckin sweet lol

You need to buy the anthology. Lot of cash though which sucks nuts, 19 is the best IMO, God it was great. Hogan/McMahon, Rock/Austin 3 (Also Steve's last match), Rey/Rey/Hardy was a good opener and then the Angle/Lesnar showdown, what a damn good match. HBK/Y2J, thw show stealer of the night and others I can't remember.

I forgot about 10 though, it was shit. Basically 10-12 was shit.

I have sections of the anthology lol...1 through 10, and Ive bought all of em from 20 til now...the only ones I havent seen are 18 and 19 lol...

13 wasnt good either...it just had Bret VS Austin....
