Let's Just Say

Rockyfolifebo!!!

Pre-Show Stalwart
Let's just say CM Punk went to TNA. Forgive me if this has already been done or is in the wrong spot. We all saw what happened Monday with him. It shook up the whole wrestling world, especially the IWC! So with Punk leaving in a couple weeks, he's going to be the hottest free agent commodity in the wrestling world!!! 9/10, he's either taking a legit break from wrestling or going back to his roots at ROH. But let's say that slim chance he did go to TNA.

Who would you want him to feud with?

Heel or Face?

Should he keep his name/gimmick?

How would you have him debut?

Ready. Set. . . GOOOOOOO!

I wouldn't mind him feuding with Sting. I dont know. He has to actually be in the company first to see who he should feud with.

Either one, I could settle for Tweener. I liekd Punk as face

Yes he sould.

Have him debut surprisingly like the lights go out, etc.

I'd want him to feud with Kurt Angle... they already have some legit heat and they are both amazing in the ring. The two of them would have an amazing feud and match. Punk as the heel in that situation would be better. Fortunately, Angle seems to be doing a good job at both in TNA (mainly because he doesn't always come out to chants of you suck no matter whether he is a face or heel). He has to keep his name and the gimmick will have to be tweaked a little bit as he should just be a solo act upon arrival not the leader of a cult. For right now I'd have him debut on Impact, though I'd keep it a huge surprise like they did for Angle. I'd feed the world misdirection with Punk so that no one suspects him coming to TNA, have him wrestle in New Japan or something for 90 days while he waits to come over to TNA, have him wait a little longer and then boom, debut for TNA just in time for BFG. I'd actually put the strap on him first and then have him feud with Angle rather than have a match at BFG with Angle. I'd want there to be a long build up to that match giving both time to adjust to their roles as heel and face.

he wont come to tna cause he's a paul heyman guy lol...get it? Anyways, yea it'd be cool to see punk in tna...will it happen...who knows. I say that because...well let's see...he plugged njpw and roh...trashed mcmahons..crapped on hogan...not tna directly....who knows. With angle doing his whole olympic training soon...I dont see him being too active in coming months. If punk does pop up in tna...I'd put him to feud with daniels or samoa joe....maybe...just maybe...rvd ore pope...that's just me

I doubt Punk will come to TNA. I think he already resigned. I expect him to win the WWE Title at MITB one way or the other. Punk's going over Cena. He has to.

Anyjews, fantasy booking is fine with me.

Who would you want him to feud with? If he's a heel - AJ Styles. If he's a face - Mr.Anderson

Heel or Face? I don't care.

Should he keep his name/gimmick? If he could.

How would you have him debut? Just show up, that's all you need.

They said Hardy would never show up in TNA when he left WWe and Brian Pillman wasn't meant to be destined for WWF when he appeared on ECW after being 'fired' by WCW. Let's be honest, I'm surprised that Vince pushed the shoot boat out as far as it went but referencing Impact would have been that one step to far. I'm in no way indicating he will show up but these things have occurred in the past.

As I always stated, the stronger the competition, the better the overall product for us grap fans. I'd love to see CM Punk in Impact.

Who would you want him to feud with?

Start of simple; AJ, Joe & Daniels. Punk has worked with all of these guys and put on absolute clinics. If you want to illustrate 'wrestling matters', you start this way. Hold of any feud with RVD, Angle, Sting (Hardy?) etc until he has 'proven' himself. Impact need to portray themselves as legitimate WWe contenders, hotshotting CM straight to the main event immediately screams 'WANNABE!'. A Joe style introduction in the XDivision could be a great bedding in position for him.

Heel or Face?

Heel. Works better for his natural character and the guys you want to see him lock up with are predominantly faces.

Should he keep his name/gimmick?

Of course, he should emphasise it to the nth degree (it was nice to see Low Ki, another guy Punk has worked excellent programs with in the past, back this Thursday - rather than Kaval or Senshi[t])

How would you have him debut?

Something along the lines of a hybrid of these two promos -

Couple points of emphasis: Keeping his name. He's the world's best wrestler and he wants to work were wrestling matters. Past history with XDivision guys to start off his initial program logically.

this is stupid..

CM PUNK WILL FUED WITH EVERYONE , COMPLETELY DESTROY EVERYONE IN TNA , THEN LEAVE THE NEXT DAY WITH EVERY TNA CHAMPIONSHIP AND DO SOMETHING BETTER WITH HIS LIFE.

It's guys like you who make all WWE fans look like absolute *****, and some of them are actually pretty down to earth people. Shove your head back up your ass and shut up. Dipshit.

Matt Hardy came to TNA. So I guess there is a chance that Punk does come to TNA as well.

Who would you want him to feud with?
If He is a Heel-AJ Styles If He is a Face-*insert member of immortal*

Heel or Face?
I would prefer him being a Heel just because he is so good at it.

Should he keep his name/gimmick?
Yes for his name. But he needs to change his gimmick up a little. Sense he is basically mixing Y2J and JBL together into his gimmick.(He is the best wrestler IN THE WORLD, I am A Wrestling god all that good Stuff*

How would you have him debut?
Heel Debut: Have him interrupt a face in the middle of a promo, then basically introduce his Gimmick ect.
Face Debut:Hype him up for a couple of weeks. Then let him attack a Heel after he won a match. Starting a fued.

CM Punk... I love the guy and all. Hell I was a fan of him even when he was still in ECW. He had a look and skills that no one else on the roster had but thse few weeks, CM Punk is starting to come off as overrated. Weeks ago no one cared about CM Punk, It's just funny how the IWC jumps sides whenever something new happens.

If hell froze over and Punk actually went to TNA, they'd gain me back as a viewer instantly. As much as it won't happen, I'm more than down with playing along.

Who would you want him to feud with?

Since this doesn't say "Who would you want him to feud with first?" I'm going to give more than one answer, as Punk is gold and could have tons of amazing feuds.

Kurt Angle: This one's a no brainer. Firstly, the matches would be amazing and secondly the story is easy... as long as Kurt's cool with Punk bringing up his addiction to painkillers.

Sting: This one would be interesting... Sting is a born again christian, which, lifestyle wise, is just straight-edge without drawing the douchey X's on your hands. Punk couldn't pull his usual "I'm better than you" schtick with Sting, so it would really cement him in as a heel. Plus I could see them meshing as well as Punk/Cena

Samoa Joe: Do I really have to explain this one?

as well as a plethora of others

Heel or Face?

Definitely a heel to start off with, Punk is the best heel in the biz, and TNA could use someone to teach their heels how to act.

Should he keep his name/gimmick?

Of course. He's keeping the rights to it, might as well use what you're known for. Him starting over with a new name would be beyond stupid. No matter what he's always going to be CM Punk, no one would ever call him Raymond Krakkenfart or whatever dumb name TNA would come up with.

How would you have him debut?

Punk is at his best when he has an agenda, I would love to see him do some run-ins toward certain groups of people... say like interfere and cost Beer Money the tag titles and have that start his targeting of drinkers and drug abusers, or a little less subtle, he interferes and takes out Rob Van Dam, and does a crusade against the former WWE guys.

OK if anyone thinks that CM Punk was allowed to cut that promo without re-signing with WWE then you are crazy. There is no way Vince is going to let someone talk about his daughter like that and then watch them walk out the door to TNA or ROH. It is just not logical and not happening. WWE is pumping this promo to the hilt that should tell you right there that CM Punk isn't going anywhere.

Hell to be honest CM Punk can retire right now. Alot of wrestling news sites are already saying he's a Pro Wrestling Legend.

If, IF! he goes to TNA, I'd say he'd be a face and he'd feud with:

Dixie Carter
Why? Because he can break her neck and never see her again. No, I don't like TNA, but I think it would be better with Dixie Carter out of the picture.

Hulk Hogan
Hogan is a man of many words. Words that mean shit, but a man of words none the less. Please Punk, if you go to TNA, can you beat him down so bad, you knock his head off and shit down his throat. Problem is, that still won't shut him up!

Kurt Angle
On a serious not here. Punk said he was the best wrestler in the world. Angle says he's the best wrestler in the world. Why not? Problem is, I'd have to have Punk as a heel because it makes more sense seen as he said those comments as a heel.

Jeff Hardy
When Hardy is finally allowed to leave the 20 mile radius of rehab, he can feud with Punk because they have a good feud in 2009 so I think it would work in TNA. Except the difference will be Hardy will be comming out with a cigarette in his mouth and Punk would use that against him (Straight Edge).

So, after my comments, you should know I think TNA is shit. Hogan is shit. Dixie isn't all there and TNA is shit. Punk, even if you do leave WWE and go to another promotion, don't degrade yourself to TNA. It's shit.

Please look at the realism of this....... We are talking about TNA. No chance they would ever get this right, if Punk were to come to TNA. Now........... this is how it would be, (not necessarily what I would want). Punk would make his debut on Impact, at the end of the show, while somebody like Sting or Angle is getting beat down by Immortal. Some random music we never heard will hit and out will come punk. 1) He will stand at the top of the ramp and just stare at the Hogan and the rest of the crew. Who will look back at him in "Shock". And Impact will go off the air. OR..... 2) maybe he may head to the ring and chase everyone out. And Impact will go off the air.

Exciting huh?

He then may get one main event match at an upcoming PPV, and 2 weeks later he will not even be in the main event picture. He will reduced to programs with The Pope, Amazing Red, and Samoa Joe on impact.

That is the way it is done in TNA. If you think I am wrong........ Ask Chyna, Scott Stiener, and Christopher Daniels. They all had "hyped up" debuts and not the excitement has worn off.

I agree. TNA has no definitive sense of continuity, Chyna I can say the thing with her was a 1 time angle just to get rid of Karen, Daniels just came into help against Immortal and another ally to Fortune. which was somewhat done. Steiner I don't understand, Kurt Angle (in storyline) specifically called in Steiner to help against Immortal and now only like say 3-4 months passed and he joins them?

I'm not saying your wrong, I believe you to be right that this is a work. However, so was this...

Sanctioned by Bischoff at the time.

You want an example of Vince getting burned?

While highly unlikely, if rumours and stories of Punk's attitude and self belief are true, it would be the type of play he would try to pull off. Being misused by WWe is hardly how he wants to be remembered. Working the biggest legend in wrestling history (VKM)? Now that would be legendary!

Punk would be better off going back to ROH if he left WWE. ROH is gaining momentum, especially after the stellar Best in the World PPV. Their TV deal is coming in September, and he would be the perfect face to appear on the first program. Now, ROH has been around for about 10 years but have only been popular in the states with smarks. The Fight Network picked the show up, giving it slight popularity.

Punk kicked off his career with ROH, so what better place to go back to?
TNA would bury him, simple as that. There's too many biig names that management don't know how to deal with.

Who would you want him to feud with?
Mr Anderson, the two are great performers and top caliber guys. If Jeff Hardy ever comes back I would like to see them pick up where their feud left off.

Heel or Face?
Face for his debut, heel right after his first rivalry

Should he keep his name/gimmick?

Yes, its his identity, its the name that was heard throughout the wrestling world after that promo.

How would you have him debut?

I would have him come out and say that while hes happy that hes in TNA, he has some "spring cleaning" to do so that his situation with the WWE doesnt repeat in TNA. He then feuds with Immortal, managing to turn Hulk Hogan face (since TNA has been leaning towards that option as of late) and leaving Eric Bischoff almost powerless. After he finishes with Immortal, I see him feuding with Anderson for the title. Their rivalry could start as a friendship against Immortal that turns sour after Immortal's demise. CM Punk could argue that Anderson is a lazy degenerate that barely helped Punk against Immortal.

How would you have him debut?

1.EVERYONE! Eventually at least. But for starters lets go with AJ Styles

2.Heel but loved by everyone of course

3.Yes , and yes

4.I'd have him just show up and cut a promo about how wrestling matters and thats why hes here now , simple as that. Then maybe AJ could come out and extend him a welcome to the company last man standing match , because wrestling matters. :D
