Kind of like the Intercontinental title division? Or the Tag Team division?
Oh come on. I gonna let you keep believing that there is a Santa Clause and the the Easter Bunny brings squishy eggs, but I really have to flush this shit before the little kiddies actually start believing it. Now repeat after me. There is no such thing as a Intercontinental division. There is no such thing as a US division. There is a tag team division but there are no specific wrestlers marketed through that except guys that like to touch hands and whisper in each others ears. Okay? Feel better? Good.
Just like a tag team division title. And throughout history, people have used the tag team division to spring forward to enter the main-event division.
Maybe my memory is failing me, but name me ONE person who jumped directly from the tag team title to the world title. And don't say Diesel because there was a break between titles. Other than that, recent history shows that any two guys who are bickering can beat ANY established tag team unless said two guys cause themselves to lose. Period.
You called me naive earlier, and yet you don't seem to understand that there are divisions in every title category. But that doesn't mean that one can't go from one division to another.
Oh god, this again. Okay, Ima say it, the Easter Bunny is no real. Santa Clause is not real. The IC and US division is not real. They were all just made up for the purpose of this thread. And I never said one can't go from one division to the other. I said that the credibility is very lacking. I mean look at how much Sam hates Kaz. He's goes from one to the other. Want to defend the logic in that?
The X-Division has NO separation, aside from an imaginary one where it is made up of cruiserweights. Of course, they don't say it's a cruiserweight title, but that's basically what it is. But, it doesn't have to be, and there's nothing that says it can't be.
Wow. Let's me see if I can explain this in an easier to understand way. Okay, in one hand you have a big greasy juicy dripping hot double cheeseburger. And in your other hand, you have a block of cold squishy tofu. They are the same thing right? I mean they are both food which means that there is no separation that will distinguish the two apart in any way, shape or form. But then again that is crazy. Why? because they are marketed differently. They are both food, but they marketing is what creates precognitions about their value. Some people will want the burger, some will want the tofu.
The X-Division title has been marketed as being a cruiserweight title. It should be scrapped and a new title made. One truly without limits. I mean size wise, the wrestlers on the TNA roster aren't that different any way, so a new title would only enhance the "no limits" theory that a second title should have. Look back in history at some of the WWE/F's secondary title contenders. OMG, Jeff Hardy, Tito Santana, Macho Man, Flair, Shamrock, Santino. Not all are the highest quality, but it's such a broad range that it makes you believe that it's a REAL title second only title the world title.
Proof of what? Samoa Joe is more like a Spoof than proof. But he was a great X-Division champ, until he started talking.
Nobody. You are right. Which is why they should turn it into the midcard title, and then start churning out World Champions with it.
No, no, no. Me being right means creating a new title and eliminating the X-division title. Now go back and face the corner.
Yes, and who is going to argue that the titles in the WWE are watered down to the point of almost no one caring about them?
They are not watered down by quantity. They are watered down by quality. They are marketed as being weak, therefore they ARE weak. I mean when any two guys can beat established tag team champs just to further a feud, then it makes those who hold the titles look weak and thusly the titles themselves look weak.
You proved my point. Thank you.
No, I proved my point. Now write that 100 times on the blackboard please.
