It's brilliant. Since the match was 2 on 1 and Layla's team won, they in effect both won the belt and are then the co-women's champion; singular. What's great is in addition to LayCool they also have Vickie to be a heat magnet and form a quasi stable. Best part is as heels they can keep the gimmick going for a long time. All they have to do is petition on their behalf that clearly even if one member get's pinned they can say that they both have to be pinned as if they were 1 person; better yet, that they have to be pinned at the same time to truly be defeated... Lot's of potential for heat here and if they want they can really build a face if in fact they end up actually having a girl go over both members of LayCool simultaneously after getting screwed out of the belt for a while.

To be honest i was surpirsed that Layla was given the title, although i really shouldnt have been considering the WWE has lost the plot in relation to the womens division. Do i think she deserves it, heck no. But i prefer someone like her holding it who is at least passable in the ring unlike idiots like kelly kelly and tiffany, so it could be worse and beth is injured atm so there isnt too much choice in terms of who holds the belt.

I like Laya and Michelle as co-womens champs. It's funny. I was happy when Layla won because it was a shock. I figured it was going to be a typical boring jealous partner angle and I'm glad creative went in this direction. It could prove to be more entertaining in the long haul.

I agree. I think this could be good, as long as it doesn't get TOO silly as the "Besties" friends always share. LOL. Takes me back to the days of teaching at preschool. I still do scratch my head a little at Layla, but I will give this time. I still place money on McCool being the one that gets mad if they lose and blames Layla for the shortcomings.

Ah, Layla getting the title. I absolutely love that SD's English Muffin is Women's Champion. And this new angle where Laycool are co-Women's Champions is great. It's different and quite possibly will help Layla's reign last even longer. I liked LitasRevenge79 vision of besties sharing everything cause that's what this angle pretty much is. I personally don't think this means the end of Laycool just yet. Madison Rayne won the Knockouts Championship and The Beautiful People didn't break up, so why should Laycool?
Well with the whole co- champions thing going on I have no clue where they are going with this. If you notice they still only recognize layla as the champion so maybe after a while michelle will start claiming the title is hers and only her thus sparking something in layla and starting a feud idk. Or if the rumors are true they are holding off on the return of Melina (rumor is she may be traded to smackdown upon her return which would be a nice little surprise seeing as her last return in Nov 08 was ruined by a botched titantron) and then she will challenge and then ofcourse beat them for the title

I don't think so. Layla or McCool will probably begin to become jealous of each other at some point, and there will be a match to determine the true Women's champion, and then there will only be one belt.
Huh? The divas might not be the best wrestlers in the world, but they are decent enough to put on passable matches, and there are a few special females on the roster. It makes sense to have tow belts because there are two brands.
Unless WWE plans on moving the Bellas to Smackdown, I can't see this happening.
Again, they might not be the best female wrestlers, but the divas aren't as horrible as some people think, and yes, I also like how WWE is giving them storylines to work with.

my prediction is that, like mitch said, one(Layla) of them will become will become angry at the other one(Michelle) because she thinks that she is the true champion, they'll battle it out a couple times, the feud will escalate, yada yada yada and it'll end how ever the wwe wants it to end. or my other prediction is that one of them(Michelle) says that the other(Layla) is nothing without them and then it'll go on from there.
either way someone ends up turning face and breaking up team lay-cool, which i am very happy about since i find them both extremely annoying AND it seems like it could be a very entertaining feud, IMO
