Laycool's breakup would benefit WWE

So, my title really says my opinion... If laycool breaks up, what would happen? Would it benefit WWE? I think it would. IF michelle and Layla became single competitors, they would be able to do a stroyline somewhat like this :

So Layla and Michelle break up. They both claim to be the real member of Laycool. They both recruit like 2 people to be sort of like a heel faction (similar to the beauttiful people) but with a stupid sense to it at the same time... This would open new windows. Such as:

Michelle Vs. Layla Womens title

2 followers Vs. 2 followers

And eventually, Michelle and Layla make up, maybe Beth and some others come back.. Then Laycool can merge, or something along those lines... A heel Vs. Heel has been lacking in the WWE diva division forever... So I think that would be a good option and road to go, as soon as WWE can confirm Beth and maybe a few others... OR

Maybe a few RAW divas come over to help, making one bigger Diva division...

1) It wouldn't get a reaction. Sorry, as much as the internet wants to "like" Michelle, that Skeletor lookin' broad doesn't NOT get a reaction. She doesn't even get the hot chick cat whistles and fox calls. Hell, she can't get the crowd to boo her when she talks down to them. Has there ever been a heel that has had this amazingly unfortunate talent?

2) Michelle would lose any "personality" or "charisma" people think she has gotten by being paired with Layla. I think Layla is fantastically charismatic and likable. She isn't the most atheletic Diva, but you can tell she compensates by doing little things. However, anything good she does is drowned out like a basset hound in a swimming pool by Michelle's monotonous and bad acting.

3) Layla would just get squashed like all of Michelle's foes. She would bump her great ass off while Michelle continues her holier than thou push. Ironic considering she's so proud to be a "Christian".

frankly i think the laycool idea was stupid i cant belive it usually its tna that tries to copy wwe but wwe actually ripped of their idea trying to make laycool like tna's the beautiful people i mean seriously i get laycool is bad but them each having a title is dumb i want them to brake up and layla to kick michelles ass and the beth pheonix come back in kick both their asses and take back the title.

I don't know if this would be a good thing for Smackdown. Not only is LayCool the hottest thing on the blue brand, but they are also the ONLY thing on Smackdown as far as the women's division goes.

Let's face it, besides LayCool, what else does Smackdown have to offer as far as women's wrestling goes? Kelly Kelly seemed like she might be getting close to taking the strap off of Layla, but nothing ever came of the feud. Tiffany got her shot, but we all knew she wasn't going to win the title, and her current troubles with her husband aren't going to help her status in WWE too much either. Once you get past Tiffany and Kelly, then who's left? Rosa Mendes? Please. I'm seriously starting to believe WWE is just waiting for the return of Beth Phoenix. Maybe when she returns we'll see a new women's champion, but until then, I just don't see anything changing with LayCool being the dominant females on Smackdown.

LayCool will break up eventually, but it won't happen too soon. Also, a face turn caused by this break up wouldn't help Layla. She was soooo dull as a face, and I don't think things would change too much if she went back to being a good girl. I just don't think the fans would care that much.

I disagree. I think Layla would be a perfect face. She's a very good seller, does some funny stuff here and there, and tries to connect with audience much more than a lot of Divas. She is always seen at fan events covered on WWE.com. All I think when I see those pictures/videos, "Why isn't she the babyface?"

But it wouldn't matter because heaven forbid Michelle's character ever gets what is coming to her.

I really don't see much happening whether LayCool breaks up or not to be honest. Granted LayCool may be the 'happening' thing, but then again, the Women's talent pool in WWE is very talent challenged right now. Thank the heavens that Melina is finally back. I'm still praying until Beth comes back. Kelly does show promise, I still can't see how Layla and Alicia are belt holders over people that have more talent and are stuck jobbing to people that should just be left as eye candy. Unless WWE gets a drastic overhaul on the Divas roster, I just don't see anyone giving a care about that. It will still remain another bathroom break.

That's the last thing that the WWE needs... to break up another tag team, even if they are a female pairing. They have been doing great and done wonders for SD in their very small Diva Division. It's pretty much their world and everything about that division revolves around them. Michelle McCool has got the wrestling skills plus name value and Layla is a great charismatic worker who draws reactions from crowds... breaking them up wouldn't benefit either of them. They've made horrible segments watchable (like NXT's kissing challenge a couple weeks back).

If you are worried about the Division on SD being dominated by Lay-Cool, then they are doing their job correct and will allow you to cheer on girls like Kelly in taking them down. However, I will concede that they need another face to combat the two girls (which is a discussion for another thread that's is already being discussed).

To answer your question, breaking up Lay-Cool is an idiotic idea.

Heel vs Heel never work except for maybe Kurt Angle vs HHH in 2000 and that was only for a few months. Your idea of breaking up the best thing in the women's division today to form two stables in fued that no one will care about will also not work. LayCool is already doing their job in making Diva segments a little bit exciting so to break them and have them on their own would do a lot more bad than good. They are right now helping people like Kelly Kelly get over and when Beth comes back; I'm sure they will have a good fued. LayCool needs to stay together as long as possible b/c only then will they be able to contribute to the women's division.

I agree with mostly everyone. Although LayCool is one of the highlights of Smackdown for me, Layla is pretty much what makes it great without her there really is no point.

The feud would probably suck if they split. McCool is pretty bad on the mic and Layla, although okay in the ring, could still use more work. So no I don't think it would benefit Smackdown to have them split.

they shouldnt break up for a long time to come......keep them around until like after the Rumble....by then Laylas ring work will get much better and Michelle may get better on the mic....then have Michelle turn on Layla, turn Layla face becuase she would be better at it honestly....then have Layla beat Michelle for the womens title at Mania....
