LVE tried but she clearly didnt have it in first place, not a big loss for TNA, she was one of the worst wrestlers in the sport along with Velvet,Otunga, Kaitlyn and co.
I wouldnt be surprised if Ms T also gets fired, TNA likes to drop angles out of no where, you know.

This isn't a big loss for TNA. Sure Lacey had the Von Erich name, but she didn't do anything with it. She was absolutely atrocious in the ring, and it's never a good thing when the Impact Zone fans heckle you, because they usually cheer everything. Lacey won't be missed in the long run, and we will forget about her soon enough.

Shame, this — I always liked Lacey. Easy on the eyes, to say the very least.
She may not have been the best worker, but frankly she didn't need to be. As a valet or even a non-wrestling character (like Tessmacher), she was more than adequate.
Was kinda nice having another Von Erich around, too, albeit one not overly talented wrestling wise.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Clearly Lacey was not a particularly gifted or skilled wrestler. Not a particularly strong worker. She obviously would have been much better suited to be a valet or a non-wrestling on-screen personality. But she didn't have to be a strong athlete to be an asset to the Knockouts division in TNA. She just had to look good, and she most definitely did that.
At least with Lacey, there was pretty much a consensus that her in-ring skills were lacking and that she was nothing more than eye candy. Unlike certain other Knockouts, for whom people claim they have talents as actual wrestlers rather than just being there for their looks.
I'm still not totally convinced she's gone though. This could well just be a storyline, playing twitter to dupe the fans. It's not like it hasn't been done before. That would appear to be the Big Sexy thing to do these days.

She may not have been a good wrestler like the rest of the Von Erich's but at least she realized that and is getting out of the business with both her health & Life in tact which is sadly more then I can say for most of her Wrestling Family except Kevin. I'm just glad she didn't put to much pressure on herself to live up to the Von Erich name because pressure & unrealistic expectations were their tragic downfall.
Am I the only one who thinks that this is code for "Got fed up with being expected to actually learn to fucking wrestle?" Look at it this way. With the money TNA is saving by not having Lacey von Erich around, Dixie can afford to bring Snooki in the next time they pay JWoww 15 large for a single non-wrestling segment.

I think it's more that no one cares that she's leaving. She's a god-awful wrestler who's one asset is being good-looking. Unfortunately for her (or fortunately for her future career prospects), good-looking women who don't take their clothes off are a dime a dozen on TV. People here just put the pussy on a pedestal; when you take her out of the context of having announcers talk about how hot she is, you realize that her kind of looks are average in show-business.
I think this marks the first time I actually completely agreed with you Zeven. Surprises me as well.
Lacey was nothing more than a doll. Eye-candy and that's about it. She wasn't much of an asset to TNA in terms of wrestling, or for that sake storyline. She was good for standing around and looking pretty. She was good as an addition in The Beautiful People, but that seems to be very much permanently over. So what else is there for her?
And yes, I would mark out like crazy for her to do porn. Or at least something more.. interesting than sports host of all things. I mean if we can't get porn, at least do modeling. She did look extremely well in her *Sigh* non-nude Playboy pictures.

I'm surprise it took this long for her to be gone honestly. She has had custody problems and other personal problems in the past few months. She is beautiful, but shouldn't have been allowed to wrestle at all. I would have thought that she might get better one day, but I guess not. I'm sure she can find better things to do besides sit around the dresser room with the Beautiful People. Angelina and Velvet are enough as far as the Beautiful People are concerned. Therein lies a big difference between how men wrestlers are viewed as compared with women wrestlers. Can you imagine anyone saying they want to keep an incompetent male wrestler around because he's great to look at?

)Then again, didn't Lacey von Erich have a developmental contract with WWE before going to Dixieland? If so, that may be the reason TNA picked up a wrestler who couldn't wrestle. They've been anxious to employ anyone who's been with the big company and they might have simply stretched it a little too far with Lacey.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand it's a good thing because she was terrible in the ring, but on the other we won't be able to look at her anymore. I thought she could of been a manager, she was okay on the mic wasn't she? Anyway she won't be missed for her in ring ability.
Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Lacey von Erich end up in the Divas division of the WWE. I know she tried this once before as I recall, not really sure why she didn't end up there. It's not like the WWE has set the bar particularly high for their divas in terms of in-ring talent.
She's a gorgeous blond. Doesn't that meet the minimum requirements for being a successful diva? I don't care if she can wrestle or not, I just wouldn't mind seeing her back in the ring again. They could affiliate her with Laycool or something.

She is hot, and while not that good of a wrestler she is just as good as most of the divas in WWE so she would fit in there no problem.
Also, with the surname Von Erich, she should have an advantage over other people trying to get into the WWE, as the company seem to love hiring ex-stars kids at the moment. Rhodes, DiBiase, Hennig, Husky etc, so having a Von Erich back in the WWE must surely get Vince erect.

Lacey Von Erich is leaving TNA? Alright. So long, Lacey. She won't be missed because she was terrible in the ring. There's an endless number of attractive blondes who could replace her. Most of them probably have more talent in the ring than her too. The question is, will she be replaced in the Beautiful People? Maybe Angelina will take over it again.
