New question piggybacking off my earlier Bayley question. It seems that the other potential rumor you mentioned regarding her downfall may be more true than WWE's beauty standard.

It was just reported in the last dayish (is h?) that Bliss and Nia have signed on for Total Divas. This comes just a few days after the two had a title match and look like they will be moving forward in a feud, possibly with Dana and Mickie thrown in.

Now I'm not saying I'm not going to enjoy seeing Alexa, or Nia for that matter, in a bikini more often, but it has been reported multiple times over that Total Divas doesn't bring in any new viewers for the WWE other programming, so why do they continue to push it so hard and punish Bayley for turning it down?

Because it gets people on low level red carpets and has them treated like celebrities because acting like an idiot and going on 90000 vacations a year in between taking all the girls to brunch at some fancy restaurant is what makes you "famous" these days.

That it's sad for his kids. I had to deal with my family splitting up when my dad cheated on my mom and it was the hardest thing I've ever done.

I got an idea recently to turn American Alpha heel upon their return to WWE programming and have them feud with the Fashion Police for awhile. I figured it'd be something fresh and it could be some good matches. Would you wanna see that?

This isn't so much a question as rather a point I'd like to bring up and your thoughts on it. "Roman Reigns announces his plans for Summerslam" showed to me one thing that I have noticed for some time now, and it's that creative has no idea how to book Roman Reigns week-to-week, or at least in a single drawn out story. They have just been given 2 ideas, Roman Reigns is a big star so we have to make sure to feature him somewhere on the show, and Roman Reigns is going to main event at Wrestlemania next year no matter what. Other than that, we don't know what to do with him and how to use him in the meantime by then, so let's just get lazy and throw our hands up in the air and book him straight for Summerslam which is 2 months away, and then hope to get there without people losing interest by August.

It's the old "Creative has nothing for you right now" but we are still obligated to mention you because you are apparently our biggest star. He has no story going on, on his own he is not interesting or charismatic enough to pull off a story about him, it's all just insert him somewhere because we have to. That's how his Rusev feud began, that's how his Owens feud began, that was also how his Wyatt feud had begun in 2015. All of them were without any logical reason or an angle to begin with but just because we had to use Roman against a big enough name and not let him be forgotten. And that's supposed to be their biggest star.

Imagine creative telling Stone Cold "We have nothing for you but we'll force you into something" in 1999.

Yeah they've kind of screwed over both Reigns and the whole Raw roster with what they're doing. It's the complete opposite of how wrestling used to be booked. Today it's "here's the ending, fill in the gaps". Before it was here's an idea and we'll go from there with a vague ending in sight. This is another good example of everything wrong with modern wrestling booking.

Have you seen Okada/Omega 2 yet?

I haven't but I'll be checking out the whole show soon enough probably.

I've always wondered, why is the amount of times a wrestler has held a title considered impressive? Like flair/cena 16 time world champions, Jericho 9 time IC champion etc. The announcers always make it out to be quite an accomplishment having that many reigns. Wouldn't it sound more impressive being a one time champion having held it for like 4 years? The crazy amount of title reigns just sounds to me like the guy wasn't good enough to hold it for long.

I know you're not the biggest fan of MITB, but wouldn't it be better if the MITB matches were interpromotional like the Rumble?

WTF is going on with Balor right now? It seems like they have no idea how to use him since he's come back.

Yeah it would be. But that might imply that the Brand Split wasn't carved into the third tablet that Moses brought down from the mountain.

WWE not knowing how to book someone when they're already pushing someone else? You don't say!

I believe they have already eroded the Brand Split concept by introducing the "FREE AGENT John Cena". They just couldn't resist. What's up with that?

Less of a question, more of an observation. I just finished 1999 Raw (good fucking grief) and at the tail end I noticed something that I hadn't really noticed before; the heel reformation of DX totally crushed both X-Pac's and the New Age Outlaws' heat. The X-Pac and Kane story, up until about a month before Pac turned, was probably the most coherent story they told around that time and he was probably doing his best character work since the Kid days. The Outlaws, especially Dogg, were on fire.

Then all of a sudden, they were all just Hunter's lackeys.

In fact, a lot if people seemed to have gotten a bit buried around that time. Test and Big Show to name a few. Shit, if not for Billy getting hurt, I doubt E&C and the Hardys would have gotten the chances they did.

It was like a sneak peak into the future of Triple H in power.

Not so much that but rather Russo leaving. Test was a MAJOR Russo project and once Russo left, no one cared. It's much more Russo leaving and people who were actually competent taking over. The HHH part was just kind of a coincidence.
