Owens, Zayn, Neville, Ziggler, Miz and one other for the IC title, right?
Did the APA have a quasi-feud going with the McMahon-Helmsley era? Everytime I see HHH defending the title on Raw, they seem to be there as back-up.
There was a point last year where Kevin Owens seemed to be feuding with about five different people (circa Takeover: Unstoppable): John Cena, Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and William Regal. Who's had the most feuds ongoing at the same time?
Is ROH in the position TNA should have been in if they hadn't colossally fucked up.
Have you ever tried to figure out how much of a three hour RAW is spent on recap? It's gotta be close to 20-30 mins. most nights, or at least it feels that way.
So, with Reigns out and Ambrose in the title hunt this time, the ratings still dropped again this week.
Now, I am not blaming Ambrose, rather, am just trying to make sense of why people dump on Reigns being the ratings problem, when neither of his peers(i.e. Ambrose and Rollins) have actually fared any better in the Top Babyface position.
All that said; Until WWE actually try to book their Superstars and Storylines in a relatable and sensible manner, I can't see a ratings hike happening.
You would think that at least during Mania season, WWE would make some sort of an effort to put forward hot storylines that give an indication that they have been well-built and thought out.![]()
WrestleMania Main Event: HHH vs Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose for the WWE title with Ambrose winning by pinning HHH. Then, Reigns gets a rematch night after Mania and beats Ambrose to cement a huge heel turn.
The above would be the most logical and satisfying way to book things wouldn't it? Ntm, the return of Seth Rollins eventually would allow for a blockbuster build towards a SHIELD three-way at SummerSlam or beyond.
Your thoughts?
From the time Bret Hart became a singles wrestler in the WWF he participated in WrestleMania's 8-13. Of those WrestleMania's which one would you say booked Bret the poorest? Also, for that Mania based on the direction of the company around that time was their a possible alternative that could have seen Bret with a better position or match on that card?
Same question but with Sting and Starcade.
So it there some rule for creative where the Wyatt Family can only win like 3 matches a year?
Given how many times Rowan has been pinned, mostly in tags, why the fuck have the rest of the family not just thrown him out yet?
You can create feuds like that if you put in the work. Austin vs. Rock really had no background until they started fighting one day.
Can you see a scenario play out with Triple H retaining the title until Rollins comes back to set them up for the title possibly at SummerSlam?
Neville needs to do something. Any ideas what?
if the New Day turn face do they get repetitive & stale? Or do they just keep doing what they do?
