Have you ever tried to figure out how much of a three hour RAW is spent on recap? It's gotta be close to 20-30 mins. most nights, or at least it feels that way.

So, with Reigns out and Ambrose in the title hunt this time, the ratings still dropped again this week.
Now, I am not blaming Ambrose, rather, am just trying to make sense of why people dump on Reigns being the ratings problem, when neither of his peers(i.e. Ambrose and Rollins) have actually fared any better in the Top Babyface position.

All that said; Until WWE actually try to book their Superstars and Storylines in a relatable and sensible manner, I can't see a ratings hike happening.
You would think that at least during Mania season, WWE would make some sort of an effort to put forward hot storylines that give an indication that they have been well-built and thought out.

WrestleMania Main Event: HHH vs Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose for the WWE title with Ambrose winning by pinning HHH. Then, Reigns gets a rematch night after Mania and beats Ambrose to cement a huge heel turn.

The above would be the most logical and satisfying way to book things wouldn't it? Ntm, the return of Seth Rollins eventually would allow for a blockbuster build towards a SHIELD three-way at SummerSlam or beyond.

Your thoughts?

Owens, Zayn, Neville, Ziggler, Miz and one other for the IC title, right?

Did the APA have a quasi-feud going with the McMahon-Helmsley era? Everytime I see HHH defending the title on Raw, they seem to be there as back-up.

There was a point last year where Kevin Owens seemed to be feuding with about five different people (circa Takeover: Unstoppable): John Cena, Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and William Regal. Who's had the most feuds ongoing at the same time?

Mostly yeah.

They were just security for hire at this point so people would hire them for extra muscle against the bosses.

Sting in 1992 as he was fighting the Dangerous Alliance (five guys plus Heyman and Madusa), Lex Luger (well kind of as he left at the end of February), Abdullah the Butcher, Cactus Jack and Vader.

Is ROH in the position TNA should have been in if they hadn't colossally fucked up.

Yep. They're pretty much the kings of the rest of the pile at this point.

I did that once. Counting commercials and recaps, there's about two hours of an actual show going on.

The difference is Reigns is still considered THE guy while Ambrose is just kind of there at the moment. Also there's WAY more to it than either of those two being in that spot.

Ratings aren't going up as things are right now. There are too many circumstances.

Throw in Brock because he's already signed to face Ambrose.

From the time Bret Hart became a singles wrestler in the WWF he participated in WrestleMania's 8-13. Of those WrestleMania's which one would you say booked Bret the poorest? Also, for that Mania based on the direction of the company around that time was their a possible alternative that could have seen Bret with a better position or match on that card?

Same question but with Sting and Starcade.

So it there some rule for creative where the Wyatt Family can only win like 3 matches a year?

Given how many times Rowan has been pinned, mostly in tags, why the fuck have the rest of the family not just thrown him out yet?

His best Starrcade match would be the triple threat at Starrcade 1995.

Pretty much and I have no idea why. In theory they think his promos will get him out of trouble but that doesn't work when he keeps losing.

THey need someone to take the falls.

Between Zayn-Owens and the SHIELD trio, does the WWE have some great built-in organic feuds that can built up to epic proportions for the next few years, or do you forsee them squandering them as they tend do quite a bit?

You can create feuds like that if you put in the work. Austin vs. Rock really had no background until they started fighting one day.

Are we going to see any segments with Shane and Undertaker without the Vince/Stephanie before Wrestlemania?

Also, the way the stipulations have been laid for the match, the fans almost want to see Undertaker lose. Is this a positive or negative?

Given the lack of top tier full time star power going into Wrestlemania, who do you think is most likely to have a breakthrough moment at this year's event?

Indeed, but with the ones I mentioned, they already have the whole backstory stuff built in. It is just for the WWE to book it in a way that it doesn't become boring due to being played out over and over in a short space of time.

Actually, I'd say that organic feuds is something that Cena, Orton and Batista never quite accomplished, lMO, whereas Brock-Cena generally seems to have that Big Fight/Must-See feel to it.

if the New Day turn face do they get repetitive & stale? Or do they just keep doing what they do?

Just a bit more onto that, if they still do the same thing how could they turn heel again? They would have to change their whole characters for that wouldn't they? essentially getting rid of what makes them entertaining.
