What are 3 terrible gimmicks that somehow got over pretty well. Obviously someone like Rocky Maivia doesn't count because his gimmick changed entirely when he went to the Rock. I mean someone like Bad News Barrett. He was over probably his best under that gimmick and I think most people were genuinely like "WTF!?" when it debuted.

In theory it's a mutual benefit with them giving him easy matches but that leads to the never ending arguments between Kane and Rollins over who was responsible for the success.

Hurricane
Austin's WHAT
Little Spike Dudley

Regardless of your opinion on the Young Bucks are they making a good statement with turning down WWE and TNA?? I mean they appear to make money and have more freedom on the indies. Is it a good thing essentially saying you'll have to give us what we're worth?

There's nothing wrong with them not wanting to work for WWE or TNA. If they're happy with the exposure/money they're getting elsewhere then then they should stay there.

Where do you see The Ascension in a years time?

Tag Champs? Back on NXT? Repackaged? Jobbing? Released?

Released.

Among all the jobbers (WWE), who has the potential to become a top star?

Off the top of my head, Konor.

if WWE hadn't fed the Ascension to NAO, APA etc would they be taken more seriously at all or would they pretty much be where they are now??

Just watched Mania 22 again and... is it just me or does Cena have a pretty weak Mania record quality wise? The match against Batista and the first against Rock are really good, and the Big Show FU is a cool moment I guess, but the rest ranks firmly in the the "eh, whatever" to "rather bad" range if I recall them. Some like the Shawn match, but it feels so obvious and by the numbers. Not unlike his career it comes off as "factory-made" if that makes sense. No?

No Payback previews on your site yet?

Holy crap, I was re-watching RAW today, and I didn't realize that Cena got more of a positive reaction than I can remember. Has Cena gained some respect from the IWC?

I like the Shawn match but I think the same about the HHH match that you do about the Shawn one.

Overall yeah you're kind of right actually. I'm assuming it's due to the fact that he's so widely conceived as THE GUY that the pressure is on him. If you look at Hogan, other than Warrior, he didn't have anything great or even really good (I go back and forth on the Savage match). Austin had a much better record but when you're fighting Bret, Shawn, Rock and Hall, it's hard not to have some great performances.

It's been busy today but I'll get it up tonight.

Yeah this open challenge has done wonders for him actually.

I have a few questions. I hope I'm not making an idiot of myself...

How would you book Kane to get him over? (Not necessarily a champion, just good pops or good heat)

Do you think there's a practical reason why wrestlers change their in-ring gear like Orton did just recently?

How would you book Brock Lesnar getting beat clean?

Thanks.

Just have him wreck things. Stop making him some corporate guy. Anyone can do that, but not many people are that big and that strong.

Just something fresh.

I wouldn't.
