It could. At the end of the day, the fans are going to appreciate a good match. If Reigns beats him clean(ish), it's going to win some people. It's also going to help by giving him another marquee win. He's really lacking there.

Hard to get marquee wins when you're jobbing to an immobile relic you should be booked to squash in 90 seconds.

Man it's been a long time since I've posted and it's good to see this thread still going!

Anyways KB, I have been watching a lot of WCW lately and was wondering how many members do you think should've been in the NWO. Obviously they threw in way too many nobodies but honestly a foursome of Hogan, Nash, Hall and Giant would've been just perfect. What are your thoughts?

Also do you believe it was right for Bischoff to become such a big part of NWO or would you of rather him stay away from them and let Dibiase continue to do what he was doing?

I could have done without Bischoff in there. Find another way to get the power to them.

I agree. I think Hogan and the Outsiders could of pulled off the whole WCW dominance or rather continue the way they were going without adding Bischoff to try and make them more powerful and it probably would of made the whole NWO thing less stale. That's of course if you take away the heels always winning, short feuds and gave more of an emphasis on the lower cards from mid point- the end of the NWO's first run.

And if you don't screw up Starrcade. That destroyed them.

Which one? One of the few PPVS they actually put effort into and they ruined it every year in the NWO era basically.

But I assume you mean the Sting and Hogan match. I cannot see how anyone thought that was a decent idea.

Understatement of the year right there, how'd your dreamteam end up? ;)

KB, odd hypothetical: John Cena makes the NFL and never leaves to go wrestle. What happens to the wrestling business as a result?

The Age of Orton goes on for a very, very long time.

It's really not that different. WWE is far more about the company than the star these days. They would produce someone else and run with him.

But didn't they kind of try to do that with Orton and fail?

1997. Well it made Hogan look strong so he loved it.

I honestly had no idea how much Hogan had an influence until I started watching all the WCW documentary's. It is disgusting. Same with Nash. I was always a WCW guy and to know why it truely did fail just sucks because it had so much potential.

:lmao:. I cannot remember which year I told you I was winning the car but I failed miserably and last year I didn't even bother. However, this year is the year I win the car mate ;).

Not if I win it first ;)
And get me in your league without disappearing off the face of the planet this time :p

Not very well as they cut his legs out four weeks in.

I wouldn't put much stock in that DVD.
