Still on Simmons. Was the APA split (leading to JBL) one of the better way of splitting a tag team? There was no feud. They weren't split due to the brand split. I just seemed a bit unique.

Not that I've heard of. He didn't seem against it when I talked to him at Axxess.

It was fine. Striker got on my nerves as always but I was fine with it. They helped with some of the little story bits and that's why they were around.

At Axxess the day before Wrestlemania he said he doesn't care at this point and that Randy is better known for not going in. He seemed pretty indifferent.

Would Lesnar losing the title at Royal Rumble ruin all the buildup they had for him? Squashing the face of the company, ending the streak, holding the title for months without showing up, all of that buildup, to lose at the Royal Rumble when it could have ended at Wrestlemania, the grandest stage of all.. wouldn't that be an unsatisfying end to all of that buildup?

Nah. It would be bailing out on a failed experiment.

You don't want fans uninterested going into Wrestlemania. Lesnar as champion has failed and dragging it out two more months would be shooting themselves in the foot.
