The sheer lack of mention of Lesnar for weeks on end was ridiculous and then having Cena nearly beat him too.

Instead getting a shot at him should have been the focus of the winter with the likes of Cena, Rollins and Ambrose having to prove themselves worthy of getting a shot at the Conqueror. Brock should have been treated as the biggest of Big
Bads, too good to grace us with his presence every week.

Surely they wouldn't have actually had to do the "Suplex.Repeat." stuff... they could just had him do a single F5, or if that wasn't possible, just do the kimura lock and have him tap out quickly... just by beating Bryan and taking the title at Extreme Rules, would have gotten his loads of heat to follow on from breaking the streak.

You don't even need to go that far: Just flash the cameras to a bloody Bryan lying in a heap in the back and say Lesnar did it.

I've recently been researching and rewatching a lot of Global Wrestling Federation action from the early '90s. So many young talents gained National exposure via their deal with ESPN. They had some big ideas but unfortunately the money bottomed out.

Are Ambrose and Wyatt perhaps being positioned to be 'side show' guys going forward given their gimmicks?

I've read that WWE sees Ambrose as an Upper Midcarder, and whilst some saw it as saying that Ambrose was never going to be pushed...I saw it as them using him like they have Bray Wyatt, in that he'll be used in alternate storylines to the main one more often than not instead of being in the Main Event scene.

Is that a possibility?
Maybe Ambrose-Wyatt becomes another Taker-Kane off and on rivalry in the years to come, perhaps?

Ofc, they'll get in the Main Event at certain points, given how talented they are(though I'm starting to wonder what their plan with Wyatt is)
I just think their characters seem flexible enough with which to have their own special storyline feuds with various other guys like Taker had over the years, and even Kane.


I'd rather Ambrose's progress mirror that of Reigns and Rollins as time progresses, however. Right now is a golden chance to build 3 top guys if they don't drop the ball with them, especially considering how over the SHIELD got as a group. Then again, they've done all they could to ruin the Streak's legacy, so...
