What do you think of the new additions the WWE have added to their contracts. I understand why but it's still a bit dickish that a talent can't work for one year.

I will admit the story didn't say anything about non-televised events but if the clause includes that, that is dickish

Will we ever see a Wrestler's Union? And if we did how would it work, would it be just WWE exclusive or would it encompass at least all of the US?

Ijust watched the Animal Unleashed documentary on the network, which reminded me of a comment Batista made about wanting to finish up with a match against HHH at Wrestlemania. In the documentary batista talks about all the new talent since he left and that made me think of all the big matches/programs he could have with Rollins, Reigns(I think this could be a big one), Ambrose, Ryback, DB and so on.

Which brings me to 2 questions

how many more programs can you see Batista working? Considering when he returns he doesnt like to be the part-time guy and having to balance acting commitments & not burning out the rub he gives like they have done with Jericho.

and

Is a match against Triple H the best way for him to go out as oppossed to creating a big mania moment and putting over new talent?

Yeah see i figured he could have 2 maybe 3, in a perfect world i have him working about 5. Rollins Ryback and Reigns(at a Mania) those three go over and inbetween each one he goes over Orton and someone else(Cena?) to build his credibility. He then goes off and film another movie or 2 if he wants and can come back for a one-off match against HHH at WM 33or4, goes away for 5 years or so and goes into the HoF. Obviously its gonna depend on how his body holds up, how HHH body holds up and his movie schedule. The man is about to turn 46 and doesnt get the respect he deserves from some fans.

Worse commentary pairing from your perspective, the current WWE announce team or Joey Styles/Matt Striker?

Favourite commentary team ever?

Which would be more enjoyable from your perspective, a bad show with great commentary, a good show with dreadful commentary or an average NJPW show with foreign commentators?

I'm bored and I want to watch some wrestling documentaries that aren't Beyond the Mat, Best in the World, the new Warrior one, The Rise And Fall of ECW or the Bret Hart ones since I've watched all those. Help me out with a suggestion or two please?

Back in 2000, WCW got sued by a bunch of minority workers they had employed on the basis of racial discrimination. Considering all that the WWE has done in regards to stereotyping, how the hell have they avoided a lawsuit when the worst WCW did was bury the shit out of everyone (IIRC).

For one thing, the WWE guys have actually been treated fairly well. Also now there's nowhere else for them to go and they're happy to have jobs.

Is Harper's finisher seriously called "Clothesline from smell" or was it just the announcers trying to be funny?

Seeing the Lucha Dragons' entrance, the "Lucha Lucha" part of their theme really gets the audience going. Why do most wrestlers not do such simple things to connect more with the audience?

What if Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose were the final three in the Rumble (would probably be better next year).

How much has scripting hurt Roman Reigns' Promos thus far? Some of the things he is made to say seem so off at times.

Do you have any idea what is being yelled in John Cena's theme song before the trumpets kick in?
I actually know this answer, and it's even somewhat topical in light of what's happening in NYC right now, so since you didn't know KB, I hope that you won't mind me answering...

It's the word "Amadou", and it's being yelled by Lil' Fame, sampled from the M.O.P. track "Ante Up".

It's a reference to Amadou Diallo, a 23 year old immigrant from Guinea who was shot 19 times(out of 41 fired shots), despite being unarmed, and killed by four plain clothes NYPD officers outside of his apartment in the Bronx in early 1999. The officers were acquitted of second degree murder charges, but the city of New York paid out a multi-million dollar lawsuit settlement.

Why Cena decided to use the sample when he made the track is a question I'm not sure anyone can answer, he(or more accurately the track's producers) probably just thought it sounded cool.

And to stay on thread topic:
KB, since you've already (angrily) conceded to review the New Japan dome show, I had a related question-

Have you ever reviewed a match featuring either Hiroshi Tanahashi or Shinsuke Nakamura? Or even seen a match in its entirety that featured either wrestler?

I think you'd surely enjoy Tanahashi if you saw a good amount of his work. As for Nakamura, while his wrestling style probably isn't necessarily your "cup of tea", I think that given his great psychology and the amount of personality and charisma that he oozes, you may dig him as a performer as well.

A good bit. They're probably trying to "fix" his stuff and you can guess how that's going.

More and more as his Singles run continues, it is clear that the "rocket ship" attached to Roman's back has included Strong Booking by way of results and looking strong in the attack segments and nothing else especially in terms of who he has feuded with storyline wise... when you then examine his main feuds have been Boreton and Borane(Sure you can understand who those two are ;) ) and now, Big Slow... is it any wonder why his momentum has dropped gradually rather than build up?

Given all that, and after reading your review of last SmackDown!, do you think WWE are that dumb to still force his push towards a Main Event he isn't close to being ready for in any aspect?
Honestly, if they do go through with it, it better include a Heel Turn, cause he definitely won't be ending Mania 31 as a Babyface whatsoever,lMO.
