Would you be able to give an explanation on the NWA's downfall?

I mean during the 70s to mid 80s it seemed to be a big deal. People mention who wworked there likeRic Flair, Harley Race, Terry Funk, the Briscos etc. All legends

Now I don't even know who's the champion and they clearly aren't a big deal.

I know WWE had something to do with it but it seems whenever NWA partnered with another company the company got bigger (or at least more popular) after they severed ties with NWA e.g. WCW, ECW, TNA, ROH

It's a combination of a lot of things, but to me it had a lot to do with the rise of cable. The idea was the champ would come to your town once or twice a year and you would go see him fight the local star. Once you could watch the national TV show every week and see the champ there, the live shows in your area weren't as big of a deal anymore.

It didn't help that the territorial promoters were never willing to work together on anything. The entire premise of the NWA was the territories working together but instead they spent most of their time trying to undercut each other.

Back in 04/05, Big Show feuded with the then WWE Champion, JBL, and there was a segment where he was shot by a Dart Gun in order to knock him out. Will such a thing ever be done again? It was hilarious and... ;)

With Roman's injury do you think he will be ready to main event WM to face Lesnar for the title? Or will they change plans and have Cena beat Lesnar for the title?

Also what do you think of Lesnar facing Cena for the 4rd time? Shouldn't he be facing fresher opponents like Randy Orton and Sheamus?

Is AJ Styles botching the Styles Clash more because of the people he's working with or because everybody saying he botches it that he somehow botches it because of all the talking about it?

One could argue that ten years in TNA got him a good cadre of guys who knew how to take it, as opposed to be working across languages and national lines with a bunch of guys who don't know him as well.

How about Dick the Bruiser? Any info on him?

Seemed legitimately tough, but could he actually wrestle? I know he used that Piledriver as a finisher and really hurt some people with it.

Wish I could have seen the match against Alex Karras in 1963. Must have been a technical mess, but I'll bet the fans were excited.

Was he popular or just a regional performer? Was he ever considered for world championship contention?

Total brawler but absolutely terrifying.

He was AWA World Champion for seven days but that's it. Bruiser's gimmick was that he would beat up jobbers literally every week on Detroit TV. He stuck around for a long time because he owned the territory in Indianapolis but he was so terrifying looking that he was hard to not notice.

Hey there! Haven't popped in here in ages. Hope all is well.

Here's my question: Why the hell does the commentary team call him "Corporate Kane"? They don't call Rollins "Sell-out Seth Rollins" and they didn't call Orton "Paper Champion Randy Orton" earlier in the year. Does the gimmick have to be telegraphed as blatantly?

Looking forward to your reply. Cheerio.

So.....given the size of the WWE's roster is there any VALID reason under God's Green Earth (to quote the great Harley Race) why Kane has to be involved in every main event on Raw (or Smakdown for that matter)?
