He's getting a huge rub out of it, but as long as Lesnar is champion, Ziggler isn't getting anywhere near it.

The only thing about the finish I didn't like was the SuperZiggler routine singlehandedly taking down an army. They really need to get away from that "Bionic Superhero" bullshit.

I didn't mind it that much because he didn't just power through everything nad hit his finisher a bunch of times. Doing that to Kane is nothing, Harper was a fluke rollup and Rollins was too complicated to count as a regular pin.

I know many see Ryback vs Rusev as the possibility, but I really feel that given how he went out yesterday, we might see Ziggler vs Rusev(Let's face it, unless he changes the US title to a Russian one, it's an afterthought at this point) given how much momentum Ziggler got through his heroics, and also, it could be the feud that sees Rusev truly step up as a Top Heel going into the Rumble and Mania thereafter.
Just a thought.

Is WWE sort of pressing a reset button on past booking mistakes? The likes of Ryback, Ziggler for instance....even Orton going back face into a more vicious side seems like a reset of sorts.

So with the "return" of the anonymous GM,they really are in Reset Mode now arent they? Any chance they get the angle right this time.

Personally, given I had stopped watching during the initial Anonymous GM angle, I am actually looking forward to seeing how it plays out.


Also; Wasn't Rusev booked like crap yesterday? I honestly thought we'd get a battle royal after he refused to say the pledge. Instead we got a Swagger run-in..... meh, such booking makes me wonder as Rusev defending successfully against most of the roster would have built him up even more and put him and Lana back on track. Of all people, Swagger??Really??

If Lesnar does indeed leave WWE after Wrestlemania, WWE won't want him going into WM as the Champion as the fans could shit all over the match (as they did with Goldberg/Lesnar) what do you think of this booking...

Cena takes a beating at the Rumble, but JUST manages to beat Lesnar for the belt.
Seth Rollins immediately cashes in on a wounded Cena and becomes Champion.
Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble booking himself a title match at WM.
Cena uses his rematch at the February PPV but Rollins retains.
Reigns defeats Rollins for the WWE title at Wrestlemania.

I like the sound of it, but would a Reigns v Rollins main event be big enough for Mania? If Sting, Cena, Lesnar, Triple H, Bryan and maybe Taker were all on the card in other matches to boost buy-rates, could they go this route? Would you want to see that match?

I doubt it. I'd assume the new GM is the Authority somehow.

Swagger vs. Rusev again does nothing for me.

That's a popular theory but I can't really see it happening. It's not a big enough main event.

To the best of your knowledge (too lazy to look it up and I thought you might know) did Mean Mark Calloway ever face off with Sting in WCW? Or for that matter, did Terra Ryzing ever have a match with Sting back in the day?

Not that I've ever seen, though he did have a match against Bruiser Mastino, who is now known as Kane.
