Noob question that I've always been too lazy to look up the answer to: What was the deal with Savage after Mania VII? Did he actually intend to retire? Was he being put out to pasture? Was the retirement never meant to stick? If it was meant to stick, why did he return?

He was taking time off and shifting to a commentator role. The problem with that was he was so hot by the end that they realized they had to change something. He was going to come back but his time as a top guy was supposed to end. The match with Warrior and the incredible reception to the face turn changed their minds.

I want to say Zayn but I think that ship has sailed. I'll go with a surprise and say Mojo Rawley.

I hope not. I am not a Mojo Rawley guy. I'm pulling for someone like Tyson Kidd. Sure he doesn't need it, but he is a NXT regular at this point.

Likely. I do like his energy, just haven't got into his ring work (of what they've put out). I absolutely dislike his finisher though. It worked for Earthquake, don't see how it works for Mojo.

For that time period, I think his wrestling was really good and that was pretty much the focus of wrestling back then. Why didn't he have such exposure and fame compared to someone like Bruno, and what was it that Bruno (and Inoki) did to become so popular?
