They have ok but Vince has always thought a successful DVD is at least 100,000 buys The last Nitro Volume did 106,000 which is way less than the first volume

If WWE does another Nitro Volume the total of all volumes will be around 300,000-310,000 at $25
Compare that to a complete release of each season in six volumes and the last volume would include the few episodes from 2001 Each season would be around 90,000 and that based on a average at $40 I just think anthology volume sets are way more profitable seeing you maximize the DVD share instead of a 33% share

The Cena heel turn for a short time would be to see what the financial numbers would be and if after Mania it hasn't added much then do a fix to end the heel storyline Thats what I meant by a short term heel turn seeing you want it too be somewhat lengthy but always have a backup plan

So it was successful.

People aren't going to buy seasons and the royalties would eat up too many profits.

The plan would be keep him face as long as he brings in money, which he does in droves.

Halloween Havoc 1997 vs. Eddie Guerrero. There's a very legitimate case for that being the match of the year over Hart vs. Austin in the Submission match and Undertaker vs. Michaels inside the Cell.

Don't you think Edge and Jericho were being a little ignorant in their recent interview?

They said Barrett should have pinned Cena and they were hinting their loss lead to each Nexus members current position. Especially Wade.
If he was good enough he would be in the title picture, Cena did a good job of putting him over and and beating someone doesn't mean burying them. Edge also made it appear as it was Vince only that lead to his success, not John Cena.

Is there anyone on Fink's level that you've seen in wrestling?

What' kind of level?

Isn't that considered the greatest WCW match of all time? From a wrestling standpoint now.

If you don't consider the NWA days, yeah.

Barrett absolutely should have pinned Cena. The story died becuase Barrett never won the title.

Without Vince, Edge is nowhere near Cena.

Of course Vince's input is important, but Cena was definitely a big help. Sure pinning Cena would have been good, but Wade's current position shows the WWE has no faith in him. The group did continue for another few months and that's when Barrett was in a few main events. Won or loss, he was put over. It was the WWE's lack if faith in him which lead him to Bad News Barrett, probably because of his lack of charisma.

First of all, you're confusing put over with a rub.

Barrett wouldn't be in the position he's in now if he beat Cena.

What I mean is can you think of any ring announcers that were as good as Finkel.

Cappetta was great.

Honestly, there were two things that really doomed Barrett. The first was Nexus' booking against Cena. The second was the Corre, which drained whatever heat he still had and used it to put over Zeke Jackson. If he'd gone to Smackdown, worked with Big Show for a month, before dropping him with Wastelands at whatever the PPV would have been at the time and then moved on by himself he probably would have succeeded as at least an upper middlecarder..

It's not even that it was a rehash to me. It's that they did NOTHING. New Nexus at least had a purpose in being an extension of Cult Leader Punk. Corre? Not so much, it just highlighted that WWE had no faith in Barrett to succeed on his own. As of now, it's looking like they were right.
