Why do they keep putting Jericho against guys that he easily outclasses and makes them look so good that they end up looking terrible in the end? Seems to me that all of these guys that go over Jericho just seem to sneak by with a lucky win

Most of the time they're lower than Jericho on the totem pole. Also when Jericho puts someone over, it's usually a heel, who is supposed to cheat to win.

Do you agree the rest of the world when we say that Fandango sucks, but, its cool saying his name so he should stay around for a while?

Nah. His gimmick is good and the dancing isn't bad, but the in ring work is holding him back.

A week ago Fandango was getting loud 'You Can't Wrestle' chants. What impressed about the man was how he took it and smirked. They are not letting him wrestle. A very good sign spotting a good athlete is when they skip over the top rope and jump onto the top rope ala Shelton Benjamin. I expect a lotta flippy moves from Fandango, and I'm calling it now, He will be exciting in the ring. You notice these small things KB? Or am I over analyzing?

I remember making a thread after you posted a thread after Ziggler's promo about abundance of talent, dunno if you remember and saying the only thing amiss is the man's name. Its still goofy, innit?

Also have you ever sat back and thought how ridiculous the name Ricky STEAMBOAT is? But the man's a legend.

I've seen him have a seven minute match and he was pretty terrible. The Johnny Curtis matches were nothing of note either.

Yeah it's kind of bad.

Not really. He's named after a wrestler named Sam Steamboat and was billed as his nephew or son or something. That was a very common practice back in the old days. It gave him an instant rub coming in.

Favourite MiTB cash-in so far?

Edge.

Alex Riley do the Shelton Benjamin turnbuckle jump. That doesn't make him any less awful.

Yeah it's kind of bad.

I figure at some point he'll pull a John Morrison, call Ziggler a stage name (to prove a point that he could be a success even with a stupid name) and change it to something closer to his actual name.

Steamboat's real name, Dick Blood was deemed either too awesome, heelish or difficult to take seriously. I mean would you cheer for dick blood?

KB - Is there anything you're really looking forward to the rest of the year?

Why do fans/smarks/marks care and obsess and overhype everything when it comes to ratings? Can't they just stfu and enjoy the product?

DICK BLOOD! :lmao:

Come on! That's just a big no no for any stage name. I'd disown my family, and the first name.

I wanna talk to you about the streaks of wrestling=

I've always thought that after a wrestler (and this said wrestler is generally a powerhouse), achieves a certain amount of victories, that get touted as a streak, the best way to end this is, by him being DQ'd after being too dominant. Not heeding the referee's call. Like if a heel, a cerebral heel pushes him too far and he snaps and like puts the heel through a table or through the mat! Make it a memorable dominant end. Thoughts?

Would that have worked with Ryback? Instead of the Maddox screwjob?

Also the best streak-ending match Joe vs Angle (Joe's streak). I dare you to disagree.

Nah. I'm not a fan of losses like that. Also Ryback's wasn't treated as a winning streak. He just hadn't lost yet.

Eh probably.

So, you'd want to boo a guy called Dick Blood, but it's still Ricky who is impossible to bo so you'd be cheering a bloody penis. I see why they changed his name.

A DH Smith match without at least three suplex variations is worthless. Discuss.

Well that and it was a heel's name and he had an opening as Sam Steamboat's relative. ALso I've always heard it as Richard Blood.

Eh I'm not big on Smith in the first place.

Have you seen the Cornette/Bearer shoot videos on Youtube? Good stuff.

Hypothetical: HBK is working WM13 against Bret. Where does that leave Austin?

AJ Styles is shit as this broody character. And I have a hard time believing Hogan needs HIM, when Hogan is so damn physically imposing, when standing next to Styles!

You see anything good there? In that Styles mess?

Quite a bit. Granted Hogan has praised so many people on Impact over the years and said how much he needs them that it means nothing anymore.

Really? You think AJ is pulling off this rebel image? It feels forced like him wearing Flair's robes with a hoodie.

I've heard a few people suggest that CM Punk was born 20 years too late and would've fit in perfectly as a character/wrestler in the 80's or the 90's. Agree? Disagree?

Where do you see Ryback's probable turn heading (aside from a Cena title match)?
