There's an ECW match with Rob Van Dam and I THINK Sabu where Sabu gets legitimately injured and RVD lays down and pulls his opponent onto him for the pin, but I can't find the video of it anywhere. Am I going crazy and making this up? If it helps, I remember RVD cutting a promo afterwards where he's in a car and says something like, "I always choose my spots," and drives away. I think he was working a douchey Hollywood gimmick or something.

RVD had a gimmick where he had been appearing on Raw and was "Mr. Monday Night" which is probably the gimmick you're thinking of.
