Do you miss the Monday night wars?

Not now that I'm a reviewer.

Do you think TNA should have tried to go head to head with ECW/NXT instead of RAW, and how do you think the ratings battle would have gone? Also, do you think Vince's overloading of the RAW roster with stars is what started the current dip of Smackdown attendance and rating as Smackdown had too few stars to draw as they did before?

Yeah probably. WWE likely would have won. Definitely.

What got you started on doing wrestling reviews? Well besides watching it I mean.

It was the 25th "anniversary" of Wrestlemania coming up so I thought I'd look at each show ever. That evolved into doing all of the Big Four shows and then I wound up doing every PPV ever plus TV and here I am.

Which show did you find better on Jan 4 2010 when Impact tried their hand at another Monday Night War with Raw?

Impact I believe.

So I was watching the documentary portion of Shawn Michaels' Heartbreak & Triumph disc set again, and Shawn pretty much brags about drawing over 80,000 people "brother!" for Wrestlemania 23. The brother part is obviously a shot at Hogan. Do you think Shawn is being serious in a sarcastic, smug way?

Also, on the same documentary, Vince admits he took shit from Shawn, that he wouldn't take from anyone else. And Shawn got away with saying some stuff to him, that nobody did or ever will get away with again (backstage arguments, I'm guessing. Vince never went into specifics). Thoughts on that?

Could you ever see two faces winning and cashing-in the MITB briefcases the respectful way? Or would would it be too boring?

That's interesting, KB.

What do you think it takes to be a good reviewer?

Be consistent, don't have word forts, don't try to be funny if you're not.

If he is he's delusional.

I wouldn't believe Vince if he said he was a multi-millionaire and Chairman of the Board of WWE to my face, so I wouldn't put much stock into it.

I hope not, as I don't want to see two MITBs a year.

You once told me that you thought wrestling's ratings/content was cyclical and that eventually the PG rating would eventually transform into more mature content over time. Do you still believe that will happen? If so, how many years do you think it would take?

As you may have heard, CM Punk was pretty vocal before his Wrestlemania match with the Undertaker, saying that he would've rather been with Rock/Cena for the WWE Championship. Do you think he had the right to make such a comment or do you think he was being too brash? It's not like the Undertaker match is a huge downgrade even if Punk saw it as such.

Also, when you do your reviews, do you often/ever have to pause or rewind matches or promos in order to type up all the info in the review, or do you just watch it live and get what you can get in there?

I think it will but you can never time those things. Benoit slowed things WAY down.

When a Punk main event draws 1.2 million PPV buys like Rock vs. Cena did, he can be in the main event of Wrestlemania. Until then, be happy to be in a match with the Undertaker, which is often the most memorable on the show.

Oh I pause all the time. It usually takes me a day or two to finish an old PPV review unless I'm on a deadline or something. When I do a live one, I often use the commercials to catch up on stuff I've missed. That and entrances let you make up a lot of lost time.

Where are your reviews for the shows??

And what makes a wrestler stale??

kbwrestlingreviews.com

The same thing that makes anyone stale: doing the same stuff we've seen before and never mixing anything up.

A popular opinion on WZ is MITB is the best non Big-4 PPV. Although I disagree, what would be the #2 non big-4 ppv?

Extreme Rules.

Why are so many heads high on NXT diva paige?

She seems too bland for me. I'd prefer summer rae.

Paige is better in the rign and gets a better reaction.

Can you remember when Taker tombstoned Cena? What was up with that?

It was at MSG. I think the idea was to tease a future match between the two but it was dropped.
