It depends on what you mean by super show.

The PPVs they had over there were glorified house shows and not very good. Vince wouldn't do a big PPV there because he's afraid of spoilers.

I'd lean towards the triple threat but it could be either.

Is it me, or to JBL and Regal both seem to have a shallow pool of references to resort to when commentating? Is this a recent phenomenon for colour guys, or has it alweays been the case without me noticing?

I don't think it's so much that with JBL but more along hte lines of the same people are on the show every week.

Thing is that with both guys, they recycle exactly the same spiel. If Gabriel (or pre-hunter Kruger) is wrestling on Regal's watch you can bet on Danie Brits being referenced (usually as training them and being the best wrestler never to come to America). Coincidentally, it's something Gabriel denies, and I can find little evidence for Kruger. Same story with a lot of the FCW guys, same shit said whenever they come out (Regal once clipped Richie Steamboat around the ear for picking his nose, 'but don't tell him that because he might beat me up'). With JBL he'll talk about Paul Lloyd (Gabriel's dad) being the promoter of AWA but seemingly doesn't know anything about him beyond that.

Well on Smackdown this week JBL calls Del Rio a former AAA champion. I can find zero evidence of him ever holding a title in that company. Then again, this is wrestling so lying is expected. Also, most fans don't watch this intently so them not remembering every statement like that is a fair assumption.

It's not so much the lying. I got sidetracked by that. It's that it's the exact same lies/stories repeated ad nauseum that make me think that. Also in JBL's case he gave Cole stick for saying (correctly) that Gabriel's dad (the aforementioned Paul Lloyd) wrestled as Pink Panther that makes me think that he knows a thing or two about the man and that's about it.

Well to be fair, how many people in America have any idea who Paul Lloyd is? Just knowing his name and that he was a big deal is pretty impressive.

Well he should have been feuding with Hardy for the title at Final Resolution but instead TNA has decided that for about the third time in a year, Storm should look like he can't keep any momentum because.....I have no idea why they keep doing that.
