Regarding the Cena/Lesnar match, what was the deal with the pauses when they cleaned up Cena? Was it to add "legitimacy" to the match or is it a new WWE policy? I certainly can't recall ever seeing a referee putting disposable gloves on. Thought Charles Robinson was going to give Cena a rectal exam.

They've been doing it for years, Striker claimed on commentary that it was due to rules in certain states not allowing blood in a sports event.

Not really. He was in the weakest of the three teams when he was a tag guy and was a midcarder for a long time. He was gone from 04-07 and then he left again in 2009. he was only on top for abotu a year at Mania time.
