It makes the WWE guys look good, and it won't do much harm. They only have him until Mania so doing something incredibly long term with him would be stupid.

If John Laurinaitis is back in the ring and training, does this mean we could see a legit 1v1 match? Will it be all kinds of awful?

What should I say back to my friend who said John Cena has been borgarting the main event scene for seven years now. I want to put him in his place for saying that lol.

That Cena has put over more people than almost anyone else I can think of.

Did you read about Shane Douglas' extreme reunion? Are you surprised how bad it was?

I was surprised by how well it turned out.

Do you happen to know why The Undertaker wrestled a match in Japan for Michinokou Pro Wrestling back in 1997?

Talent exchange deal probably. That happened every now and then.

Yeah. I've yet to see what I'd call a good Johnny Ace match.

Here's his response after I told him that:

Yes and no. Has he put people over? Yes. I agree. But do you ever hear about them after? Rarely. Same with them getting over. There's been, I think 2 guys that stayed over, Miz and Punk (But Miz messed that up). But in any rivalry, he never looks weak. There's a subtle difference between putting someone over in a match and petting them over with the crowd.

when you consider triple h's increased involvement backstage over the last couple years, how much credit would you give him in terms of the elevated quality of the overall WWE quality the past couple years?

Miz
Punk
Sheamus
Orton
Edge
Del Rio

Getting them over with the crowd isn't Cena's fault. Cena is flat out better than everyone else. Notice that when people are chanting, they chant "Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks." Very rarely do you EVER hear anyone else get their names mentioned. That's not Cena's fault. He's just that over.

Probably to an extent but a lot of it has to do witht he talent on the roster.

How many matches have had that just epic feel to it since Austin/Rock at WM X-Seven?

Not many. Punk vs. Cena did. Cena vs. Rock certainly did. I absolutely had to see the latter of those two.

Looks like I'll be watching Punk vs. Cena tonight after I watch TLC 2 when I get home from work.

I'll end up reading it soon, but before I go over, quick response version of how good Austin/Bret was at Survivor Series in '96?

rock vs hogan or rock vs cena

which was the bigger match?

which was the better match to watch?

Rock vs. Hogan.
Rock vs. Cena.

It was great but it gets completely forgotten because of the rematch.
