In no order on both

Real American
Ted DiBiase's Theme
All American Boys ("We don't like heavy metal, we don't like rock and roll. All we like to listen to is Barry Manilow." AWESOME)
Jive Soul Bro
Hard Times

DDT
Chokeslam
Savage's elbow
Piledriver (something so simple yet vicious)
Helicopter Bomb (always liked that)

If Randy Orton vs Kane does happen at Wrestlemania, do you think it would be a good match? And would you add more of a no holds barred stipulation to it?

Are you not a fan of the MITB matches due to the actual match, or do you dislike the concept due to it being a shortcut for putting someone in the main event rather than developing character and and intriguing feud?

The second. It totally defeats the purpose of a build and is there as a safety net.

Do you think the build up for the Bryan/Sheamus match at WM has been disappointing?

There's been a build?

Am I the only one who doesn’t like it when, in a match—and this usually happens in the independents—it’s a one-sided match and the person getting beat down wins? Either with one big power move or a roll-up. My perspective on this is pretty simple, you get beatdown the whole match so you should lose. Simple as that. IDK, from a jaded POV, I just can’t stand it when one person put so much effort into putting on a show and they end up losing. And by "putting on a show," I’m not saying “well if they did a highspot they should be rewarded with a win,” no, what I’m saying is they’re the one who did more moves in the match, they’re the one who put put the beating to their opponent so logically, story-wise, they deserve the win. I mean, is that really how they plan the match out before hand? I mean, what’s going on?

You're underrating the art of selling. Some people can make a match look much more effective through great selling. Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy and Ricky Morton are masters at it. They can make a crowd feel so bad for them that they'll pop like crazy when the good guy makes his comeback.

I hope Sheamus and Daniel Bryan get a more meaningful interaction than the irregular run-ins and tag team matches. The promos have been okay, I just want something better than, "Daniel Bryan is a bully now, just like I was when I won the WWE Championship, so to teach him a lesson about bullying, I'm going to beat the shit out of him."

Yeah there isn't much of a story. I think they're thinking that just winning the Rumble is enough but it isn't. Wrestlemania is supposed to be a big deal, not like Over the Limit where you win a qualifying match to get your shot.

I posed this in the Jericho/Punk thread in the WM 28 section.

WWE is DROPPING. THE. BALL on these 2 working a verbal feud. Holy shit. We've only got 3 weeks for vocal epicness and so far, we've only got 1.5 moments of it. 1 being their confrontation last week. .5 being when Jericho was talking about everybody stealing his stuff and CM Punk coming out, showing the back of his shirt and leaving.

For those that are content with what we've got, quit settling. We know these 2 are capable of so much more. This feud (the feud, not the match) has great potential and it would be fucking dumb to leave it for AFTER WrestleMania, a.k.a the residual post-WrestleMania feud.

KB, do you think I'm overreacting here?

Yeah just a little. This show is about the top two main events and the rest comes later. Punk vs. Jericho is an afterthought. It's annoying but it's true.

I think the 4 big matches are the best big matches for a wrestlemania in years honestly and all have potential to steal the show.

How bad would Wrestlemania have tanked last year if it weren't for The Rock? I doubt anyone would have coughed up almost 60 bucks to see John Cena vs The Miz

Would it be different if instead of it featuring midcarders, MITB matches featured guys that were already established main eventers, previous WWE/World Champions? Like, Money in the Bank/Champions Edition?

Do you remember the original DX video that came out in the late 90s with Cole as the host. There was a part when HHH and Chyna were in the production truck and the phone rang. Cole answered it and it was Shawn Michaels on the other end (obviously it wasnt but they were saying it was. Hunter took the phone and hung up on him. What was the deal with that? I never understood.

Not really. It defeats the purpose of a build in general. Think about it like this. A few years ago, Jeff Hardy FINALLY won the WWE Title over Edge. He had been chasing it for a year and gotten closer and closer each time. When he finally won it, the place ERUPTED, as did the LD. We had been drawn into it and were give a reason to care.

Take for example the show I'm watching now. There's a made up title that's being defended for the sake of having another title match on the show. There's no story, the guys in it have no history together, and the people don't care. WHy should they? There's no reason for these people to be fighting other than something thrown in there. That's what MITB is: a title change with no build and no emotion attached. That defeats the purpose entirely.

My guess: it's DX and they're not supposed to make a ton of sense.
