Best: Whatcha Gonna Do is hard to top.

Worst: WHAT gets annoying beyond belief.

Cornette: Great wrestling mind, great talker, a bit too nuts

Russo: Awful for wrestling, ruined a lot of things

That's a big mess. There was a lawsuit right when the company ended between three parties (Lawler, a sports marketing company and the previous owners). Some combination of those three own it.

Thoughts on WWE seemingly finding it difficult to create new main event level faces?

Looking at the new guys who have been given a shot at main eventing over the past few years (Sheamus, Wade, Ziggler, Swagger, Truth, Del Rio, Miz and Rhodes is well on his way) all of them are heels. In terms of faces given a chance you could only really argue a case for John Morrison and even then its not a great case. Why is this?

I've always wondered whether the costs of house shows outweigh the rewards.

Are the ya thing of the past? The Miz recently got injured at a house show. Is it worth overworking wrestlers for 300 days a year? Do they make enough money and exposure following the current pattern, or could they cut down the amount by half?

That they could if they would actually book people as faces instead of tweeners.

Because heels are far easier to establish than faces.

I think they do. Those shows make money and are great for practice. You can see what works and what doesn't and make a nice profit as they're not expensive to run I wouldn't think.

What about the effect on wrestlers? Obviously people won't want to go to a house show featuring Tyson Kidd and Chavo in the main event, but do you think reducing house shows to lessen the chance of a main eventer snapping an achilles tendon is a possibility for the WWE?

They could get injured just as easily on Raw. The whole injury issue unfortunately isn't going to change because it's the way wrestling works.

Let's say Austin vs. Hogan does occur at WrestleMania 18 as you believe it should have, who does the Rock face and how does the Austin/Hogan encounter conclude?
