High collar is all I've heard of.
Can you make a storyline and realize that people don't want to boo people like Hogan and Flair while not having a huge storyline with plot hole after plot hole and managing to not botch the post mega heel turn stuff by having Jeff Hardy, a drug addict that has major charges facing him be put into a major spot on the card?
Bringing Hogan in was a good idea. Making him top heel wasn't. Have him be the trouble shooter or the GM guy or something like that.
When he was coming in, I said it was stupid to think he could ever be a heel again. You and I agreed on pretty much everything surrounding the "ordeal". If the options were "Hire Hogan and misuse him as badly as ShamWow guy used a hooker" and "Don't hire him", I'd go with B.
Yeah I remember that. I didn't think Hogan would work but it gave them some publicity which is the right idea. He's still a huge name and TNA was seen as a company that needed star power. Giving him authority though and more or less full control wasn't going to work as his booking style has never been good or entertaining as it takes him FOREVER to get to anything.
I kept saying that they would be interesting at first and then it would fall apart after that. What do you know, old KB was right.
I didn't think it sucked for the most part. Hogan shouldn't have gone on last and should have gone over clean, but the show was good.
