Are you surprised to learn that:

1. WCW in 1998 had so much TV time, they didn't run more than 3-5 house shows a month?
2. The Woman's 4-Way from NXT was extensively rehearsed and practiced on their Florida House Show circuit?

Speaking of Malenko. Do you think his height was the only thing holding him back from being a main eventer? Or even if he was 6'3'' or something like that that his charisma/mic skills would have still held him back?

He needed to be younger too. He was in his late 30s in the Monday Night Wars and most people wouldn't see that as a way to make money. Granted WCW would have argued he was too young and hadn't made any money before so he wouldn't make any money in the future.

I'm looking at the WON awards and I've just noticed that Hogan was given Most Overrated from 1994-98 but in 1997 was given the award for Best Box Office Draw. How in the world does that work?

Why do you think that aside from RVD they've never done a variation on the MITB cash in???

Lack of creativity in creative.

To be fair, what more different could be done with MITB? Rather than a lack of creativity, perhaps the MITB gimmick is just exhausted?

Edge picked his spot in the heeliest/cleverest way possible (twice) and won it from someone else; Punk turned heel by cashing in; RVD and Cena gave advanced warning; Kane cashed in the same night he won it; Sandow and Cena failed to cash in successfully.

Perhaps interrupting an on-going match to cash in or a similar scenario that was mentioned in this thread not long ago with a tag match involving the champion and Mr MITB, with the latter destroying everyone in the match with the briefcase and then cashing in.

I assumed that was a given.

I think I thought up with cashing in mid-match and having the MITB winner have a title match and just lose then clock the champion with the briefcase, cash in and win. Although now that I think about it the MITB idea probably is exhausted. It didn't help that they decided to give it it's own PPV and have two briefcases up for grabs for a bit.

So one segment with Mark Henry >>>>> A whole bunch of segments with Big Show

for Reigns, eh?

Creative seems confused at this point, don't they?

So, after his miraculous success, is Bryan's return story him failing on a constant basis, freely admitting he's a B+ player like the authority said all along and moving on in the midcard?

That would be after the 2nd major injury he suffered in 06 that kept him out of Mania 23 right?

If so what would you say was his best in ring year between the two injuries?

2005 when he kept putting Batista over.

Just moving along in the midcard and occasionally having title shots. Think Shawn post return.

Do you think Reigns would have benefited from an appearance on Talk is Jericho where he could tell his story and seem more relatable and Jericho can slyly put him over throughout the thing. Ryback got a very positive response from it and I'm a listener to all wrestling podcast and more often than not I end up liking the guest more the more I learn about them. I think that could have helped Reigns a lot.
