Those guys should have been putting others over. If they're doing that, their presence is fine. When they're dominating the show, it stops mattering.

With how the card for Mania is actually lining up, surely it's setting up to be quite a solid Mania?

Are you looking forward to the Goldust-Cody match?

Your top three WWE title victories?

Could a heel Sheamus be world champion once again?

The quality could be good, but the build is horrible.

Nope.

3. Savage at Wrestlemania IV.
2. Austin at Wrestlemania XIV.
1. Foley on 1/4/99.

Yep.

So, with Brock reportedly not backstage tonight, will WWE seriously stick to their guns with this Main Event of Brock vs Roman?

I know I am amongst the Reigns fans who backed it, but no Brock 2 weeks after Fast Lane is in no way "Best for Business" regardless of how good Paul Heyman is...

I don't know why, but the Japanese system of touring events rather than regular has me intrigued. It gives the product a bit of a ... can't miss/show's in town/big card feel to it, not unlike a UFC or Boxing event, in comparison to the WWE/TNA set up of regular weekly tv, like it's anything else on the networks.

Thoughts?

On a scale of 1-10 how much do you want to see Wrestlemania?

Right now I can't think of a single thing that I really want to see this year and I can't recall that ever happening (for myself at least) for Wrestlemania. At most I want to see how Reigns match turns out for him but it's nothing I'm willing to spend $60 on (or even $9.99 if I could legally get the WWE Network).

So, having just read your review as the DVR is recording tonight's Raw (out here it starts right as your writing up your review), I suppose I'm better off watching The Great American Bash 1989 tomorrow instead of Raw as I had planned?

If I didn't do this for a living, I would watch Walking Dead that night and check the show later. That has never, ever happened to me before.

Yep. There are indeed some good moments, but my goodness they're buried under some bad stuff.

So, I'm still wondering, why didn't Randy come back and run rampant on the entire Authority instead of flirting with the heels and losing loads of 'return momentum' in the process?

Are you having flashbacks to WCW 1999 yet?

No. If this were 1999 WCW, Kane vs. Big Show would be headlining Wrestlemania. Comparing anything to that company in that year is not realistic.

I'll second that: Orton's entire return has been one big WTF?!?!

I'll answer both of these at once. Somehow, I'm assuming it's going to build around Stephanie and Orton being afraid of her and ultimately standing up to her. Yeah it sounds ridiculous, but she's clearly the top heel in the company at this point.

You probably just gave Vince an idea.....

I need Dramamine right now.

Stephanie's character is completely different now. She's gone from HHH's wife to the most evil, dominant woman ever who must be praised every few seconds and who is allowed to be humiliated once every six months, but NEVER loses power as a result.

And if you make her bleed she bleeds acid all over you?
