I should have specified in WCW

The main event of Uncensored 1997. Yes.

As for a singles match.....dang Road Wild 1996 I guess? No.

He's done moonsaults at the Power Plant when he was in WCW... And was promptly warned to never do it again.

Loaded question... do you like Ric Flair as a pro wrestler?

Yep. I'd love to see that.

Only the first 30 years or so.

Would you say the Midnight Express/Rock n Roll Express rivalry was the best tag team rivalry of all time?

I do... because I can't think of any others that would come close to it... maybe the Hardys/Edge and Christian/Dudley Boyz TLC matches maybe... but they never sustained anything long term.

I was thinking the three way feud but like you said, they were nowhere near as long term. Nothing else really tops the Expresses.

Isn't he the one who injured Batista, causing him to have to relinquish the WHC?

I know it was in a match with Henry but I don't remember Henry causing it.

When I think of two wrestlers that just go well together in the ring, Savage and Flair come to mind... I'm watching a random Nitro title match between these two and it's Wrestling 101. How to sell, how to cheat, how to draw heat, how to keep the crowd into it, etc.

Name two other sets of wrestlers that had that kind of chemistry in the ring?

I just saw a clip of Vince McMahon in aristocract dress up dancing with four women while guys like Honky Tonk, Jake the Snake, Randy Savage, etc... played the saxophones and Hulk Hogan covered on the guitars.

What the hell was this?

The 80's?

You might have noticed, for the past few days, when we click on 'New Posts', the results mostly consist threads that we've already viewed before, and often on multiple days too. The frequency of new wrestling-related threads and the amount of discussion has visibly declined for a while now. Would you attribute it to pro-wrestling as a whole dying slowly? Or let's put it that way- would you consider it as another proof that 'the biz' is steadily heading towards its fate? Or do you think it's merely a coincidence?

Austin and Rock for the main event style. Sting and Flair and Luger and Flair too.

The 1987 Slammy Awards in particular.

Close enough.

Coincidence. This is the fall lull. My site has been down too. People will get back into it as we get towards the Rumble.

Do you anticipate the WWE going above and beyond tonight to put the best show possible to try and silence as best they can the Punk chants that are sure to come tonight with Raw in Chicago? Do you think they will mention or acknowledge either Punk or the potential chants?

I was trying to think of all the wrestlers who had won the WWF/WWE Championship within 12 months of debuting on the main roster.
Lesnar, Angle, Taker, Sheamus... surely there must be more?

So today I learned that Rusev and Lana are dating irl. No way this ends well right?

Not likely no.

Big Show, Flair, Yokozuna, Kane, Del Rio

Inspired by this but to go in the opposite direction, who had to wait the longest after debuting before winning a heavyweight/top tier belt? Eddie Guerrero?

Guerrero isn't really that long as he won four years after debuting, not counting about a year out of the company

Just WWE Title:

Andre (difficult to say, at least ten years)
Sheik (around at least three years)
Slaughter (debuted in the early 80s but was in the AWA for most of the decade)
Bret Hart (6 years)
HBK (8 years)
Sid (4 years, wasn't there the whole time)
HHH (4 years)
JBL (9 years)
Edge (8 years)
RVD (had a few matches back in 1997)
Miz (4 years)

Then there's the mother of them all: Vince, who was on TV for about twenty years before winning the belt.

I'm kind of surprised about Andre but from what I gather he was more of a regional attraction in short bursts rather than a sustained draw in one place, which I guess is a big factor? If that's waaaay off then I'll need to go over Gelgarin's posts in the WZ tournaments :)

Pretty weird to think how Edge and JBL also waited for a similar amount of time to each other before winning the big one.

We have had two Raw's now following Night of Champions and there really isin't a clear picture as to what the main event/events are going to be at Hell in a Cell.

What is your best guess as to the main event/events at Hell in a Cell and what match/matches do you anticipate using the cell?
