Under - Matt Hardy
Over - D-Von. I do not get why he was pushed like he was in TNA.

I actually thought you were going to say Christian considering I and many others feel he should have had a better main event run in WWE. But then again Devon bored me to tears when he was TV champion and he was meh as a reveal in Aces & Eights and meh in general in the group. I mean Garrett Bischoff stood out if only because he was terrible

Have you watched the WWE vs. WCW war stuff on the network?

If you did, did you find the show to be an accurate, historically acceptable production of the major events, turning points, etc. of the "war"? Is there any kind of bias there or is it pretty much objectively accurate?

Who was the better guy in 1992, Sting or Savage?

Sting but not by much.

Of course.

Not really no. It's biased towards WWE but you have to expect that. I mean, implying that DX was carrying the war is about as laughable as you can imagine.

You're right; those are my exact thoughts.

I only asked because I thought something might have slipped by me that a more "experienced" fan (I mean, you've reviewed almost everything) would pick up on.

Surely Kalisto and Sin Cara won't be the ones to beat the Ascension, right?

Would the Ascension look bad if they ended up losing to the Vaudevillains, since the Vaudevillains are quite a comedic team?

My first instinct was that Lucha wins but the more I think about it the less sure I am.

Yeah that wouldn't work given the build. A fast pin is fine, but having them lose to a (funny) joke doesn't work.

Foley said Flair wrestled the same match every single night of his life (true to a degree) and Flair said Foley was just a glorified stuntman. They got in a near fist fight backstage once over it.

What about Larry Zbyszko, KB? Huh?

He was supposed to have been a legendary figure in WWE due to his feud with Bruno Sammartino. He seemed to have a significant part in WCW when they were ruling the Earth.

Do you know of any reason he never made an appearance in WWE after the fall of Bischoff? Do you think he didn't want to? Or was he simply not as important a figure in pro wrestling as I'm thinking he was?

He really wasn't that important. He had one huge feud and then won the AWA Title when it meant nothing and had a decent WCW run in the early to mid 90s. That's pretty much the end of his accomplishments. He was actually still wrestling until a few years ago in the indies. He didn't have a connection to WWE though so there wasn't much of a reason to bring him in.

Foley also said that Flair was every bit as bad a booker as he was as good a wrestler.

Well to be fair Flair wasn't much of a booker.

The feud and mega payoff match with Bruno at Shea Stadium? Or is this a case where the WWE pretends anything that happened prior to Junior taking over never happened?

More or less that.

It weird that I greatly miss Leo Kruger? I tried to give Rose a chance but bluuuuuuuuuuuuh.

Eh yeah he's not the best. TO be fair though Kruger wasn't going anywhere.

I don't know if I'd say disrespectful but more along the lines of wanting to have his own legacy instead of being a junior.

Which could have been accomplished without pretending his dad's legacy didn't exist. It would have been better for Junior to let people wonder if he was a narcissist instead of removing all doubt ;)

I remember hearing that Bret was supposed to drop the IC title to Shawn at SummerSlam but once the show was announced for England they made the switch to have Bulldog go over. Is that true?

If it was than was the plan for Bulldog to always drop the title to Shawn or did that only happen because he was on his way out by Survivor Series 92?

Finally, were there any plans for Bulldog moving forward (into 93) had he not been released due to the steroid stuff that started coming down around that time?
