Oh I'm sure some of the punches in the matches were real. It was designed to look like a shoot which is an effective way of booking a feud. In short, not much but a bit in the matches I'm sure.

OK I had a few swerve ideas for SSlam and rate them on a 1-10 of possibility of them either happening or being mentioned for creative:

Lesnar needs to be screwed over to muster up some fire for his character and Heyman screws Lesnar again with the help of the Shield seeing Punk is a huge comic book fan and The Shield is a marvel property

Many say the Total Divas show are about the Bellas but I disagree I think the show is to develop Eva Marie's heel character She forces either Cena or Bryan to lose because of her attacking one of the guy's real life woman I would prefer Brie to be a face just to see how well they can do on their own

1. 1, since Shield isn't a Marvel property. S.H.I.E.L.D. is a Marvel property.

2. 0. Anything involving the Divas with the main evnet of Summerslam is a bad idea.

I understand the difference in the two Shield names just that VKM likes to get a jump start on other entertainment stuff would be nice for the whole Punk/Heyman/Shield story to be completed

Eva Marie and Bellas are from the West Coast and clearly those three are the starts for the Divas show and to use some reality into the story would be great and would also be a nice start for Eva seeing her character screams heel and no better way than a woman to cause one of the top faces to lose the championship

Side note in case you didn't know I have a thing for Italian and Latina women so Eva is both and be nice for her to get off to a good start

have Cena not necessarily turn into a heel but rather turn into a dark character like AJ Styles would it be a good idea?.

I have a question here KB... Since you stated that your favorite territory was the WWWF, do you think that Bob Backlund should have lost his world championship sooner? I feel that Pat Patterson or even Ted Dibiase could have done it. Both were in very good shape and Ted Dibiase really had that great babyface potential like he showed in the old Mid South Territory with Bill Watts.

Also, does Ken Patera deserve an actual WWE Hall of Fame induction?

Funnier train wreck to watch without taking anything seriously, Total Divas or 2000 WCW?

Total Divas. WCW 2000 wasn't completely terrible.

No.

Is Chris Sabin being set up like CM Punk when he first won the WHC?

Not really.

Yeah he did hold it too long. Even a transitional champion in the middle would have been a nice breather.

No.

Watching William Regal's coronation as King of the Ring, the character strikes me as pretty much destined for the main event (only for Regal to be wellnessed of course). Did you see him fitting into the top heel role on Raw (or even SmackDown) in the summer of 2008?

I didn't.

I've had this same argument with many people before and while the reports say he was going to be the top heel before he got wellnessed, I can't see it happening.

Speaking of under the mat, what else is underneath the mat?

A lot of padding actually. When I got in the ring at the TNA house show I was surprised how much give there was. It's like getting on the kinds of mats you use in gym class in school. There's also a big spring and a mic under the ring for the sounds.

If the WWE lacks something, what do you think it is they lack?

Freedom from uniformity. By that I mean everything feels so structured. It doesn't feel like anything could happen at any time.

You're right. Everything feels as if it's all too planned.

:lmao: Now that I think about it you can straight up tell the whole thing is scripted based off the way it is now.

What would you see changing this uniformity. More beatdowns after matches?

That's not what I mean. The show feels like every bit of it is planned out to a tee.

The show will start with a fifteen minute in ring segment where the main event will be established. Then we go to a commercial, then we'll have a match, then you'll go to the back where someone just happens to come see the GM. Then we'll have a recap and then another match before going to a video on some wrestler. Then someone comes to the ring for a segment to advance their story and a match is made for next week. Then someone talks to someone else in the back and we'll have another match.

How many times have you seen that EXACT hour to an hour and a half of television? Mix it up. Have stuff happening at the same time, open the show with something in progress, have people doing stuff in the back DURING the matches. Don't make it feel like they're waiting on a cue to do whatever they're saying.

This whole statement should be treasured. I'm awestruck at how well you have ideas that would pop Vince into highscurity of fortune.

Who's your current favourite wrestler and what could he use improvement on?
