It was good but considering the brand split didn't go into effect for about four months it's a bit hard to say that the show was good all year. Still though with the SD Six and the insane tag title matches they were having and Edge's amazing run, it's hard to argue.

What were your thoughts on WM 19?

Did you think Renée Dupree would've eventually become a main eventer had WWE put enough faith in him?

Overall Rating: C+. This went back and forth for me. It’s not exactly bad, but it’s far from great. It ended well with the face taking the gold like he should have, but the booking for this show was absolutely terrible. What this show desperately needed was a first half main event. Look at your final five matches: HBK/Jericho (best wrestling on the card by far), HHH vs. Booker T (Raw Title), Street Fight (the real main event), Austin/Rock (no explanation needed) and Lesnar/Angle (SD Title). You can clearly see the problem. There’s no chance at all to catch your breath here and it’s very draining. A filler, like say Taker’s match in between there somewhere and another like the triple threat tag match, or even the Raw Tag Titles from Heat would have nearly saved this show. Maybe a segment or something like that also. Either way, the second half of this show is WAY too packed and it hurts things badly. The show is good, but I’d watch it out of order. Semi-recommended.

And no, that guy was pretty bad.

Thoughts on Jarrett's MMA gimmick?

It's something different and they're trying something with him, but Jarrett is a good worker on his own and it's not like he needs a gimmick to get over. Put him out there, give him 15 minutes and let him be Jeff Jarrett. For some reason Russo has never gotten that.

I'm kicking around buying a WWE PPV from this last part of the year (from after Money in the Bank on). What show do you recommend from that time period for someone just looking for a solid three hour WWE PPV production?

Just made a thread about it but thought that it would be an interesting question as well. Did lex screw him self out of a good career when he went to w.c.w? I feel like he got lost in the shuffle when he went to w.c.w and he would have had a better career if he staid in the wwf

Would you rather see Brock Lesnar continue to fight in UFC or leave the sport as a whole and return to the WWE ?

Either or. He'll be far more famous in UFC but in WWE he'd probably make more cash. I think he'll wrestle again someday though.

Hard to say. In WCW he was one of the top guys and probably made far more money than he would have in WWF. Also once he lost at Mania X, his importance in WWF was over.

I think it's fine. In essence Cole is GM right now and he's the most over heel on the roster for the most part so I have no issue with it.

That it's absolutely remarkable. Not the wins, but that one guy and the run he's had at a single show has become a bigger deal than either world title.

Should WWE pursue AJ Styles and get him on board? The man has improved on the stick, he could be the total package now.
Also, Punk vs AJ Iron Man Match?

1. No. He'd be wasted in WWE more than likely. Remember Vince's theory: if he didn't invent it, it's not likely going to get pushed. (note that it's a theory and not a law and isn't always true).

2. Iron man matches do not work in practicality more often than not. Too long, take up too much time, take too many people off the show.

What draws you to a wrestler? What aspect of his or her character makes you sit up,take notice, and legit want to watch them week in and week out?

What about when Hunter's reign starts? Surely it is but a couple of years away and he always came across as a man who would make good wrestling decisions.

Also, these two could make it very much interesting for the whole 60 mins no?

For me it's someone I can relate to or something I can identify with. With Foley, my all time favorite, it's because he wasn't the biggest, the strongest or the best. he kept trying and eventually got to his goal. That's something I can identify with and you can get to see something that might not come true for you come true for someone else.

Eh maybe but I'm not sure. He fits in TNA and I can't imagine him leaving at all.

Angle and Lesnar couldn't do it. Benoit and HHH couldn't do it. The only hour long match I've ever seen that worked the whole way through was Rock vs. HHH and AJ and Punk are not Rock and HHH.
