Do you miss the old Survivor Series where the teams actually had a reason to fight instead of "these two guys have had 10 matches against each other so let's put them on opposite teams"?

Also, do you think that something needs to be on the line since Punk isn't defending his title?

Thoughts on 3MB ever possibly using Freebird rule if they won thr belts?

I'd be fine with it. I like these guys more and more every time I see them.

A lot of the old matches really didn't have reasons either. Some would but a lot of the time they were one feud and then 3/4 other guys.

Eh maybe but it's not a huge problem if it doesn't.

Either the Hart Foundation vs. Demolition at Summerslam 1990 or Benoit/Angle vs. Two Man Power Trip. Once Jericho gets the hot tag, you won't get much better action ever.

If Lex Luger wasn't in the WWF, do you think Crush would've gotten the top spot in 93 after Hogan left the company? Even with Luger there, do you think Crush would've been a better choice for the top spot anyway?

What should go on last at next year's Royal Rumble, The Rock's title match or the Royal Rumble match?

I think they would have gone with Hart instead. Crush was on the way, but I don't know how far he actually could have gone.

Rock.

They ran. Literally they would have whoever they could cover them up and flee to a waiting car. Often times cops there to guard them, but I remember hearing Cornette talk about a show in I think Louisiana where the cops basically said "this is too much for us, you guys are on your own." If you can find it, check out his 5 hour shoot interview (totally worth it, if nothing else for stories where Randy Savage slept over at his house back in the 80s and Jimmy Hart in a chicken suit) and he tells some insane stories about how many people attempted to maim/murder him.

Is that the one where HHH busted his quad? Where would you rank Rey/Edge vs Angle/Benoit?

Gimmick - Joseph Park is the first one that springs to mind. As for WWE, maybe Anger Management.

Turn - Batista on Mysterio. It was logical, it was angry, it was definitive, it was gradual. That's all it needs to be and it worked. On top of that he was a big guy picking on a little guy. That's almost perfect.

That's a good possiblity. Either that or just do what JR did when Rock vs. AUstin was made official at No Way Out 2001:

JR: "SIXTY THOUSAND IN THE ASTRODOME TO SEE THE ROCK VS. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!!!"

If Ryback dismantles Team Punk, should Punk and Cena have their blow off match at TLC leading to Rock/Punk at the Rumble, should Ryback go after Big Show and the WHC or Cesaro and the US Title?

Do you consider Daniel Bryan a main eventer?

At the moment no.

This whole Rock match is screwing everything up. Since Ryback can't have the match at the rumble, the only thing he can do is go after Big Show. Cesaro would be a horrible move as the US Title is beneath ryback at this point.

At the moment no.

I'm not sure myself. Meltzer compared him to Kurt Angle, he could run with a world title perfectly well if given the chance but his goofy character keeps him from there. Kurt should have been a longtime heavyweight champion, he was a fantastic wrestler that could do fantastic promos. The problem was he was so good at bullshit comedy and Vince is so in love with bullshit comedy it stunted his career. Kurt also did stuff like Bryan, after winning what 2 world titles he won the tag belts with Benoit? That was comedy much like Hell No.

Not exactly.

Angle already had a long background before he won the world title. He was an IC Champion, European Champion, King of the Ring, and an Olympic Gold Medalist. There was a legitimacy to him that Bryan doesn't have. Look at what Bryan had accomplished before he won the world title:

US Title
MITB Winner

That's it. That's all he had on his resume before he cashed in on an unconscious Big Show. Angle won his first world title by pinning The Rock in a PPV main event. Bryan's first world title loss was in nearly record time on top of all that. At the moment, Bryan doesn't have anywhere near the credentials that Angle had when he got later in his career.

And if Ryback goes after Show, where does that leave Ziggler?

Seems like WWE booked themselves into a mess with MITB ONLY being for the WHC...

Do you think Ryback could hit Shell Shock on Show? He had trouble with Tensai who's ~80lbs lighter...
