Could Ric Flair return to the WWE in a managerial role such as the greats like Bobby Heenan or Jimmy Hart, and pull it off without stealing the limelight from the wrestlers?

If so, who would benefit from such a rub?

You don't think he could pull off another Four Horsemen style stable? Hand pick four guys, manage them, etc?

It could but I'm not sure if I'd want to see it. It didn't go that well with Fortune, but that's TNA and they can't really be competent. At the end of the day, I don't know how much more an endorsement from Flair means. Also, the biggest issue with guys today is they don't get practice on the mic. They need to actually get time to speak for themselves rather than having someone else do it for them.

Well, I had in mind that Flair would be able to make managers mean something again, that's why I mentioned Heenan and Hart, and not Vickie Guerrero or Armando Estrada, as Flair could easily be at that top level. Just think of the boost it would give some of the younger superstars who we've been told are supposedly the 'future' of WWE.

Also, with mic skills practice doesn't always make perfect, eg. Randy Orton.

Eh maybe but again, the point of having a manager is for them to enhance the other guys. I'm not sure how much of that Flair can do.

I've been reading Scott Keith's reviews on Raw in 2003 and I haven't found anything redeeming about that year. They screwed up so many things including Goldberg and Kane it is unbelievable.

I'm sure plenty. First of all Flair's the 'dirtiest player in the game', he could use every pseudo-heelish tactic in the book to get his client a victory. And this would work for both heels and faces.
Secondly, if Flair is picking his own proteges as Big Nick suggested, he could use them as an extension of his own 'Nature Boy' gimmick, giving a bit of style to wrestlers who are otherwise fairly bland.

Is it just me, or does Santino get "main event" level pops?

He had the crowd eating out of his hand with Bryan in the Chamber, and seems to get massive reactions when he enters.

Did WWE take a risk with signing Lesnar again? I mean we can't forget how he left in the first place with that incredible Mania XX match , who is to say he won't pull something like that again?
