Where does Punk/Cena from the past two months rank as far as entertaining storylines of the past oh, four years?

It's good but in odd ways. It's a story for smarks and really hardcore fans. Most people either A, don't get what they're talking about or B, don't care and just want to see them fight. I've really liked it, but I'd bet a lot that the people that are just casual fans don't want to see it and aren't rushing to see it after hearing about it. I've enjoyed it a lot though, but more for the matches than the talking.

I definitely get that. The matches have definitely been awesome, and really shows that the chemistry between them for a match is insane. Do you think it leads to Punk going against the Triple H Management/Corporation type deal?

The crowd reaction to him has been a little surprising, no? Or is it just the smarks?

There's a moment at the end of the Raw where I think they had the contract signing. Punk started talking about something very smarkish and the fans were chanting before he even got finished. I highly, HIGHLY doubt the majority of the fans cheering for him knew what he was talking about. It's one of those things that comes off as being anti-Cena and more pro-Punk. It's kind of surprising but the other night in the Raw LD I asked if he would have gotten the same reactions against anyone not named Cena. I'm not so sure.

Right, but I think this feud only works, at this point in time, against the top guy. Then we transition into Punk vs. "The WWE Corporate Machine".

Yeah it had to be against Cena. The thing about Cena is that he gets a reaction like no one else has in a very long time. Some people love him and more probably hate him, but how many people would LOVE to be hated as much as Cena was? Most guys get practically no reaction whereas Cena gets dueling chants. Punk is getting the definition of a rub and it's working very well.

Where are we on character development? The midcard is riddled with guys who nobody cares about because we aren't given a chance to be invested properly. Hell I'm not even invested in Alberto. All I know is "Mexican Aristocrat! Destiny! Blah blah, spanish, blah blah".

There isn't time to do it at the moment with everything else that's going on. That's a major flaw of the company at the moment. One thing that could do a world of good is to make those inset interviews that Morrison did on Raw a regular thing. You get a quick snippet of him and you hear his voice. It helps tremendously. That and stuff like stuff that is unique to them. You saw all kinds of stuff like this with guys like Mr. Perfect and DiBiase. Those little skits helped give us a reason to know something about the guys. Do little things like those and the characters become characters rather than personas.

I do agree though, just a little bit here and there can do wonders for a guy.

Hey KB where do you stand on the Generation Me Incident with Booker T? I personally think that they were being heels and working the boys in the back like I did in CHIKARA but where do you stand??

Understandable. The music is mainly to help us act like we are doing a legit show, and probably because most people would want to hear something besides two guys talking for an hour+.

Both Q101 and The Loop, the stations in my previous sig, were sold to another company. Then last month the new company decided to switch Q101 into a news talk format geared towards women. No music, only talk. We kind of parody that for about 10-15 seconds.
