Has anyone ever sold a return worse than Todd did right there?

Pretty much everything Josh Matthews has ever done.

Describe John Morrison:

(i) in WWE
(ii) currently.

Why did he never get a world title in WWE?

Incredibly talented but a bit too fun to be a top star.

Fine and much better suited for his talents.

Melina. Basically Morrison wouldn't shut up about how amazing she was and how she should get a much harder push and WWE got sick of him. That's certainly why he left.

Let's settle the debate once and for all. Randy Rosenbloom (from Heroes of Wrestling) or Josh Matthews, who's worse on the announcer's table?

Can you elaborate "a bit too fun to be a top star" please? I didn't get it.

He wasn't someone I could see as a World Champion as the slow motion and hair thing didn't seem like a main event style.

Josh and it's not even close. Randy was one night and there were far bigger problems on the show.

Given that Harper's build into an elite talent on SmackDown has been marred by two pinfall losses to Randy Orton (both of which were probably necessary) and he has a spotty track record as a singles talent anyway, do you think a win over AJ next week after a hellacious match and the clear and obvious storyline quality that could resort from his win is enough to make him on equal footing versus Wyatt and Orton heading into a Mania championship match?

So Finn Balor has to be wrestling at Mania, right? No way does he get into the ring and jump around like that without being good to go. WWE doesn't play that game anymore.

What's he doing, KB? Who is Balor wrestling at Mania?

Edit: Just watched the video again. The guy is jumping around and spinning. He's doing all kinds of things. Stuff the brand split, get him and AJ together and I'll gather all the money.

What's up with Shane McMahon?

Has he yet to recover from that concussion at Survivor Series?

If yes, then I think that it's the reason to not do him Vs. Styles at Wrestlemania.

Which city holds more "Wrestling History", Baltimore or Boston?

I've been listening to some older tapes and I've heard some guys say the term "spot shows". What is/are "spot shows?"

Probably Baltimore.

Basically back in the territory era, you would hit the same cities on a loop. For instance, the WWF might do (making this up):

Monday: Boston
Tuesday: Philadelphia
Thursday: Toronto
Friday: Pittsburgh
Sunday: Washington DC

Repeat every week to two weeks.

For the territories that didn't have the same kinds of big cities, you would do a spot show instead. A spot show is a one off show in a small town. You're from Memphis so in that territory it would be something like Jackson, Union City or Bowling Green, Kentucky. Basically you would go to the local high school and do a show for a few hundred people. It's not a regular spot on the circuit and doesn't have a big arena but it might get two shows a year.

Does that make sense?

Yes, thank you sir. That makes complete sense. To counter that though, wouldn't spot shows be considered "a waste of time"? At least in the minds of the talents performing in spot shows? Obviously, talent isn't going to get the payoff as much as they would be if they were in Memphis, Nashville, Lexington, and Louisville, right?

Yep, as you were paid based on the house. Vince would figure out that you can go to a major city and make 100x the money every given night and the rest is history.

Assuming Reigns vs Taker is the direction for Mania.
How about Braun gets an assist by Taker to win but ends up in the AtgBR for some desired competition which sees him eliminate the majority until being knocked out by the eventual winner, leading him into a post-Mania feud with said AtgBR winner. Who would be a good candidate for that job?

First off:

Andre
Rousimoff
Memorial
BAttle
Royal

Much easier acronym.

Sami? They never really had their big match.

Lol. Agreed.
What does AJ do instead after the brilliant year he has had?

Hopefully a match with Nakamura.

Sami was my initial choice also but does that mean he gets the rub from finally beating Braun?

Also, Nakamura vs AJ is fine. How do you build such a match without the title whilst making Nakamura the big deal he should be on the Main Roster? Ntm, the short time left till Mania.
