So an up and coming billionaire is starting a new wrestling promotion and has tasked you to start hiring whoever you can to be his stars. There are a few rules to the hiring process though:

You can't hire Cena, Rock, SCSA, Hogan, Flair, Andre or Savage or any of their other gimmicks. No Stunning Steve's or Prototypes here :p
You can get any wrestler in their prime
It is in this era of wrestling and crowds (I threw this one in to see if you'd pick someone like Sammartino to wrestle today)

Who are your first 5?

Also, how was Bischoff as a commentator? I watched pretty religiously back then, but I was a teenager and didn't really pay attention to that stuff.

Because you had a loudmouthed heel and a pure face (albeit a face with a big scar) and it built to a big match after a string of promos. This is what you had for years to build up wrestling until it was decided that such a way was stupid.

What you DIDN'T have was the loudmouthed heel losing almost every fight he had and then running in to knock out the champion after he had just finished a fight because it was more convenient that way.

For the past year McGregor has used the phrase "red panty night" to described how other fighters feel when they get matched up with him because he's such a big draw and they'll make money. When he won tonight it's the first thing people started posting on social media.

That's all McGregor. It's not some random guy on creative handing him lines. With that said, how important is letting guys talk and express themselves without being handed a bunch of lines from a script? Is that something that would result in a noticeable improvement in the WWE or is booking the main issue which needs to be fixed before anything else?

The former: Speed Force.

The latter: New Day.

The booking philosophy needs to change but it would be a huge improvement.

Since McGregor gas been brought up ever since Sheamus returned with his current look I couldn't help but think WWE dropped the ball and not give Sheamus the McGregor look with the haircut and beard and try to play up the Irish warrior angle from that prespective. Do you think something like that could have worked?

Would you be in favor of a Triple Threat Elimination Main Event for WM. My idea would be Sheamus vs Cena vs Reigns. Cena & Reigns virtual tie to end Rumble like Luger/Hart. Have Reigns eliminate Sheamus and after a spear to Cena and looks like a Reigns culmination Authority hands Cena a chair & Cena wins the Championship.

Reason for that is Cena ties Flair in controversial manner because hes going to get booed anyways. When Rollins comes back he would turn face because he would feel that Cena has replaced him. So it ties two storylines together with Rollins returning and Shield re-unites. For Reigns after WM for the next year he defeats Undertaker & Brock Lesnar to set up defeating Cena at WM 33!

It would be great, which is why we won't see it.

Nah. Sheamus is going to be out of the main event scene after the Rumble. Reigns vs. Cena would be fine though.

With Cena and Co. returning, maybe a Roman suspension angle could happen? I'm sure you, more than most, know that WWE will probably undo all of this starting tomorrow night and we'll probably be back to square one come the Rumble.

Pissed Off Roman Reigns is Best for Business, tho. Hopefully, tonight wasn't a tease.

Oh sweet goodness that would be stupid. Therefore, I can almost bet on it. Either that or Stephanie adding balls to her collection.

I do hope that Sheamus is on his way to losing the title to someone of relevance(i.e. Cena or Lesnar). If Reigns is to progress into a Star like WWE wants, then he needs to be up against such guys, and not Upper Midcard talent like Sheamus...

Also, can Ambrose finally get some focus away from Reigns with the Intercontinental title in his grasp? What's next for Kevin Owens?

How good is Mauro Ranallo at wrestling, if you've heard him do wrestling? I've heard him do other sports and I think he's solid.

Also, what was the move that put TNA in the state it is in now? I remember when they brought in Hogan, they were still doing fine, but the move to Monday didn't really work and then they decided to kill off a lot of their PPVs, which I didn't mind, but they pulled back too many. They should use 6-8. I can't pin point one moment or what happened, but they definitely lost me a few years ago.

He's good but as with any commentator: it all depends on what Vince is shouting in their ear.

Yeah it's making the show all about Hogan and Eric. It became WWE with old people and that's not how you want to book an alternative to WWE.

I don't like being one of these people but I am getting so frustrated with wwe that im so close to making a YouTube video out of all the crap its producing.

Reigns doesn't annoy me like he annoys most others and I know there is not many main eventers to pick from but seriously, what was the point on sheamus taking the title from reigns at survivor series apart from that small twist that might of caught all but 1% fans off guard. I understand it made more of a story for reigns to finally get that wwe title (similar to hardy back in 2008) but it took a month for him to capture that "brass ring". So with it being so quick in the way he took the title back, to me it takes away the he got ripped off part because I know wwe just were trying to make survivor series not predictable, which also failed. Too me it would of been better to let reigns wait to mania, even after to make it have that feeling.

Another thing, what was the point of making the Lon? Too have all of them just be reigns bitch. Is it possibly one of the worst booking for such a prestigious stable that wwe is making them out to be? Made no sense for all of them to lose to reigns in a 4-1 let alone every single match they participate in (even though it's only been a few). I do get the whole face should beat heel at the end of the day argument but what benefitted from reigns winning that 4-1 handicap, even if it was by dq.

So questions in summary;
Do you like the way wwe has gone about this reigns situation with him losing at survivor series to only win it back a month later?
Would you have booked Lon the same way it has been now, or do you think the same as me and think they look weaker than the Ascension.

Does Reigns just continue to run through the LON until he gets Sheamus in a rematch at RR or will the group die before then?

Yeah probably. I don't think that group was ever meant to last long term.

To make the fans want to see him win it. If he had kept it after beating Ambrose, no one would care. Now they care.

Pretty much yeah.

Yeah probably. I'm rarely a fan of the short title reigns like that.

They're not that bad due to past success alone.
