What are the chances WWE dooms Reigns' crowd reactions by having him do something ridiculous like go over both big show and Kane in the most obvious match outcomes ever? I mean there is a chance Sheamus comes out of all this as the top face in the company for taking it off him.

Also, how repetitive will Reigns' matches be at the event, and how do you think that will affect the quality of the show?

Chances that Bryan is a suprise return for the tournament?

Not that its a good idea because then he has to win it or else the crowd will shit on anything else

Will they try and convince Cena to return early now?

Reigns vs. Ambrose in the final and The Authority help Reigns win since they need a new number one guy since Rollins isn't good enough. Gives us a new feud, removes the need for Reigns to speak since you can let Triple H do the talking and begins the process of Rollins coming back as a face to defeat Triple H who can talk shit on Rollins until his return.

How fast should I throw any hope I have of this happening out the window?

I'd go unlikely. If they're skeptical about bringing him back at all, bringing him back to either job or to wrestle multiple matches doesn't make sense.

Probably.

That would make the most sense actually.

Reigns was basically the pick from everyone to win the Rumble next year. If he wins the title at Survivor Series I would assume he holds it until at least WrestleMania.

Who the hell do they have that could be a legitimate winner of the Royal Rumble to main event against Reigns? Is it Lesnar and Cena only?

Sooooo, basically what they did with Rock in the Deadly Games tourney at the '98 Survivor Series?

Really dumb question: Are Zeb and Del Rio Faces or Heel?

Heels.

Pretty much, save for a surprise.

I would think so yeah.

With their legendary status, it is tough to make a case that they are underrated, but when I see mentions of the great tag teams, I don't see many people bring up Blanchard and Anderson. There were a lot of terrific tag teams, like the Midnight Express, Rock N Roll Express, Road Warriors, Bulldogs, Hart Foundation, etc. who seem to get mentioned more but I think Blanchard and Anderson were just as good as any of them and better than most. Or am I just being a Blanchard fanboy? Where do you think they fit in among wrestlings all-time elite tag teams?

You're not just being a fanboy but I think you're not listening to a lot of people. Anderson and Blanchard are one of the teams you hear brought up a lot by the old school guys. Austin often calls them one of if not the best teams he ever saw.

Thanks. I'm happy they are getting their just recognition.
When Heenan fired them, was that supposed to be the beginning of a face run for them if Blanchard hadn't failed a drug test? Seems weird to me to think of them as fan favorites. How do you think that would have played out?

How ludicrous was the Matt Hardy/Kane/Lita storyline. I mean moreso the fact that Lita would sleep with Kane. I could understand weird demonic impregnation but this was after Kane had 'powers' so it just seemed odd

I see from your profile you are from Kentucky. I live in the KY/IN/IL tri-state area so have spent a lot of time watching the regional wrestling here. Not sure how old you are but unless you're pretty young, you know just how huge Jerry Lawler was around here. Did you watch a lot of CWA wrestling? What is your view on Lawler the wrestler? I think he went to shit at the announcing table a long time ago but as a wrestler he had terrific charisma. He's one of the best I've seen at being great as either a face or a heel. I marked out big when he won the AWA belt and loved his character when he was feuding with Von Erich.

Follow up Lawler question: was there any legitimacy to his disdain of ECW when he was involved in that invasion angle? He really sold it well.

I liked it, but that's partially due to Lita being gorgeous back then.

I'm 27 so I wasn't around for most of it live, though my mom got me into wrestling because she was a Lawler fan.

Lawler is like a Dusty Rhodes or a Hulk Hogan: he's not a technical master but he knew how to work a crowd and made a huge career out of it as a result. That's WAY more important than anything else.

From what I've read it was exaggerated a bit but he didn't care for them.

Who walks out of Survivor Series WWE Champion?

Reigns I believe.

With rumours swirling about it possible happening, I think what many will remark about the Undertaker vs John Cena match, is "What If the Streak still existed?"

Did WWE leave money on the table with the Streak now broken?
Surely, the Undertaker vs John Cena with the Streak on the line would have been something that would have definitely been of interest to many of the casual fans who watched Mania generally just for the Streak match.

Indeed, if it does happen, it will be a big match(probably a retirement/ career vs career match), yet I can't help but feel that like Taker vs Sting, this one would generally have a "What If?" feeling lingering over it...

What do you think about this scenario if they really are going to pull the trigger on a Reigns heel turn:

Tonight HHH announces that this tournament will not be for the WWEWHC. It will be for a match against Reigns (since he's already #1 contender) and winner gets the WWEWHC. Have Ambrose win the tournament in the final match to be fought at SS. Then it provides even more heat on Reigns when he needs to cheat to win his first match of the night while Ambrose uses the 2nd match as a way to get the crowd really behind him.

I'm not one to advocate random heel/face turns often, but this one would put both men over huge.

What do you think the chances they do turn Reigns heel?

Not so much with it being broken but on not doing the match already. This should have happened years ago.

Good chance of the heel turn overall but I wouldn't do anything more than have Reigns get to the finals and turn there.

Do you think WWE would seriously pull the trigger on a Reigns heel turn?
Honestly speaking, Reigns going heel seems to be more popular than Cena going heel nowadays, and for some reason, I see WWE leaving him as babyface regardless of the constant boos he gets in certain areas...

I could be mistaken, but None of the 4 WWE Heavyweight Champions thus far, have actually "lost" their titles.

Orton lost in a 3-way without being pinned.

Bryan got injured and vacated it.

Lesnar lost in a 3-way without being pinned.

Rollins got injured and vacated it.

Did I miss someone? It's interesting, lMO.
