Would you agree that WWE creative focuses on only the top story and is lazy with the rest?

Wouldnt it be better to be lazy on the top story (because championship feuds should be easy to set-up & big name talents with simple stories should be enough to draw) and be focused on strengthening the mid card, tag team and divas divisions?

I've been saying that for years now.

Yeah but they should be able to focus on both at the same time, at least to a degree.

Why not? You're missing some great entertainment.

I don't have time and the only let's play stuff I watch is Video Games Awesome.

I don't do top ten's but off the top of my head and in no order:

Luger vs. Pillman - 1989
Steiners vs. Nasty Boys - 1990
Chamber of Horrows - 1991 (not good but so bad that it's fun)
Cactus Jack vs. Vader - 1993
Hogan vs. Flair - 1994
Hogan vs. Giant - 1995 (for the look on Hogan's face before the match. You know what I'm talking about if you've seen it)
Malenko vs. Mysterio - 1996
Mysterio vs. Guerrero - 1997
Hogan vs. Warrior - 1998 (oh yes)
Goldber......sorry, we're out of time.

I've been slogging through this thread off and on, only up to page 235. Do you ever read back? It's kind of interesting seeing all the thoughts and opinions and how they have changed over time.

Steel cage matches, do you prefer pinfall or escape the cage?

Any thoughts on the following:
-Bill Dundee
-Austin Idol
-Jonnie Stewart
-Badd Company
-The Destruction Crew
-Gino Hernandez

Do you see managers ever having a prominent role again?

Is there any benefit to a wrestling show to feature jobbers and squash matches?

How does Vince Russo put food on the table? Does anyone pay him for his opinions on pro wrestling? Do he endorse products? Does he sell anything?

Do you think the reason he recently put his name out to Vince McMahon as a potential hire is because he needs to more than wants to?

Has the invasion angle ever really been done well?

For me, no one has shown an understanding/implementation of the nuances of making the invaders/defenders too weak/strong.

Even the nWo made some bad errors long before it jumped the shark.

Usually escape but pins can make sense at times.

Loved the fact that he wrestled way bigger tahn he was.
Ton of charisma.
Not really.
Never got the appeal.
Never got the appeal.
Perfect villain for the 80s.

I know he gets paid for some stuff but he probably just saved a bunch of his money.

It's to keep his name out there. Even McMahon isn't that crazy.

Japan did a few good ones and the NWO was perfect at first.

While the first weeks of the nWo, playing on the WWE connection, were fantastic, I always thought that WCW were made to look far too weak and stupid.

Granted, stupid faces is a staple.

Oh of course. By the time the NWO split, WCW basically ceased existing.
