I always liked Burn in My Light for Orton. AJ's theme is pretty cool. Angle rising out of the ground is awesome. There are a lot of theme songs I like. As far as mixing them with special entrances, nothing springs to mind but there are good oens out there.

What are your thoughts on Barry Windham? I just watched his match with Muta at SuperBrawl 3, and Muta made Windham look like a chump, but he has a pretty good reputation, so I wanted to know your professional opinion.

I'm no professional.

And by 93 Windham was nothing. He had everything handed to him and to be fair he was talnted enough for it, but he just stop trying. If you want to see Windham when he was absolutely awesome, check out anything he did with Flair from 87-89. Those are some excellent old school NWA matches.

Yeah. If they can make their guys healthier and take away some of the dangers of getting cracked down on by feds. Nothing wrong there.

I'm watching Sting vs. Flair at Clash of the Champions, and Sting just Military Press dropped Flair, and then followed it up with a headscissors takedown. Absolutely incredible. Where do you think Sting ranks among middle sized guys (6'0"-6'5", <300 pounds) when it comes to in ring ability?

He's incredibly talented and one of the best ever. His jumping ability could rival RVD on his best day, he was ridiculously strong, fast, could work on the mat, had that unique striking style. He had it all. For his size.......all around he might be the best ever.

That's pretty high praise, but probably well deserved. I just started getting into his stuff, and I haven't been anything less than extremely impressed so far. I watched his strap match with Vader last night (still can't believe the ref gave Vader that last post!) and I'm watching Clash of the Champions tonight. Any other suggestions?

I'm still in awe of the fact that he hit a military press drop and then followed it up with a headscissors. I have my doubts that that's ever been done outside of a cruiserweight's match.

Sting, best ever? Nah. His in ring work deteriorated to a ridiculous degree after 1995 to the point where he had to be completely and totally carried to have a good match and it's been that way for well over a decade now.

Yeah, his match with Hogan at Starrcade (can't remember which one, but it was not to long after he debuted his black and white dark character) dragged like a motherfucker.

His older stuff is amazing, though. Especially his match with Cactus Jack at Bash At The Beach 92.

Well that was definitely more Hogan's fault than Sting's. There's only so much Sting could do with Hogan's offense consisting entirely of chinlocks and eye pokes.

The last good match I can remember where Sting wasn't totally carried was against DDP back in 1999. He had one or two good matches with DDP I remember and held his own, but after that, totally worthless.

Absolutely. He had some of the best matches in WCW history. I just think the guy's extremely overrated when people proclaim him the "best ever", especially considering how awful he's been for the last decade. It's not like he took a bunch of crazy bumps in his career either, he was always one of the most protected guys on the roster, so I have no idea why he's wrestled so badly over the last decade like an immobile Hulk Hogan.

Agreed, but his stuff prior to that can't be rivaled by many.

I'm sticking with Jericho as #1 all-time (for me), but Sting is a Top 10.

I just got done watching the match at WM 18 between The Rock and Hulk Hogan from the True Story of Wrestlemania DVD, your thoughts on that match.

I'm watching the Ladder Match DVD again. Where would you rate this as a collection of matches. It's up there isnt it?

Is or was there any excuse for taking an unprotected chair/weapon shot? The build to TLC 1 shows a huge amount of them and it never fails to make me wince.

Thoughts on whether or not Psycho Sid actually did shit his pants at WM13(i think)when he vsed the undertaker?

I've heard he did so I'll go with that.

Never seen it but I'd assume it's solid given the history of ladder matches.

To the head no. Elsewhere it's not as bad.
