Kane: Next ECW Champion?

Even though Glen Jacobs said that he didn't want a title, according to some on this thread, and that he rather put youngsters over, well Kane getting the ECW title would be a great way of putting ECW over. with ECW over, then those who are a part of its roster has greater credibility. That way, both ECW and younger wrestlers are put over by Kane.

I think Kane would be great to hold the ECW title. I also think that he could have a good angle with CM Punk for the title. It would be awesome to see Kane be a heel one more time before retiring.

Kane needs another good heel run, I loved it when he first took the mask off and was just destroying everyone he basically came in contact with. Make him a heel and a champion that would be awesome.


Also when in th hell is Kane going to get his own dvd? He really needs one. I mean Rey Mysterio got one and he hasn't even been there as long as Kane has. But I do suppose he is more popular. But still Kane deserves his own dvd.

I think Kane should win it for a few reasons.
1. This I believe would bring higher ratings for ECW. I know I am going to start watching ECW if he wins it just to see the feuds he is in.
2. It would bring some credibility to the ECW Title. As WWECW it hasn't really had an established veteran since RVD and Big Show.
3. He deserves it. He has been highly devoted to the WWE since he arrived. What does he have to show for it? A 24-hour title reign. He hasn't really complained about not having another reign with a major title. He does what is best for the company by putting over the younger talents although burying himself all for the company. Even if it is the ECW Title, he is one of the most deserving superstars to hold a top title. Then he could put over more young wrestlers which he seems to do gladly.

Kane would be a great choice for the next ECW Champion and probably the most legitamate since RVD was handed the title when ECW was resurrected. My only concern is with Kane being chamion will they actually take the necessary steps to make the ECW title and Kane's championship run a real deal or will he be stuck wrestling Chavo 7 or 8 times on TV. Kane, Mark Henry or whoever manages to take the ECW Championship away from Chavo will be a better champion and give ECW the chance at becoming a real contender.

It's about time they gave Kane another chance at a title run.Now with a legitimate title holder ECW might have a chance to break away from Smackdown.I think maybe stealing away a few talents from TNA might even further help.I'm hoping Vince can make ECW it's own unique brand.No it will never be like the ECW of old but it would be nice to have another alternative to Raw and Smackdown.

Kane as ECW champ adds meaning to the belt. It put the belt somewhat on a same level as WWE and World Heavyweight Championship, like when Lashley had the belt. By having Morrison, Punk, and Chavo, the belt was degraded to mid-card. They should keep heavyweights and main-eventers as the ECW champ. Kane winning the belt. Best move ECW ever made since making Lashley a dominant ECW champ (IMO)

First off, I wish I'd have seen this thread before I bet on another man for the battle royal and lost $5. But yeah, Kane as a WHC is awesome, and I don't know how many of you noticed, but with Taker as WHC, the "Brothers of Destruction" now hold two of the World Championships. Thats cool. What I was thinking is going to happen is stars like Punk, Morrison, Miz, and all the smaller guys wil be drafted away and guys like Snitsky and Umaga will be drafted back to ECW (or smackdown) and ECW will basically be an hour where all those big monsterous guys go to fight, and all the smaller guys with skills get to go show them off in a place people will see them!

Has anyone noticed Kane isn't even on the ECW roster? I know it doesn't matter as they have a ''talent exchange'' but it's still a bit of a mockery to the title.
Anyway he'll have a good run, a rivalry with Shelton/Elijiah could prove to help elevate both of them.

Making Kane the ECW champ was a darn good move to be honest, it gives meaning to the title for once, not just another mid card title having the Brothers of Destruction obviously now the World champs its a good thing. ECW is up there just below the WHC and WWEC so kudos to WWE!

Putting the ECW Title on Kane is a good thing, it does give the title a little more meaning, and should draw a few more viewers to the show because Kane is a very popular guy. Kane deserves this title run and I hope it is a long one because he is probably the most popular guy they could have given the title too, anybody more popular than him is not being sent to ECW.
