JTG....Heel?

All right, I know that no one on here really gives two shits about JTG or NXT in general, but something rather interesting went on last night.

During the Regal vs. Novak match, JTG kept pulling sneaky interference, even though it ultimately failed and Novak was tapping to the Regal Stretch. Is it possible that JTG will get a heel push on Raw, or am I just wishful thinking and that as soon as NXT is over, JTG will stand for Just That Gone?

When Cryme Tyme first appeared I thought they would be heels but the crowds loved they're criminal antics so they stayed faces. Now when I'm bored I watch NXT and I'm surprised that JTG is getting a sort of heel run with Regal.

For month's on these threads posters have suggested that a new Nation Of Domination form. Now with R-Truth's words this past Monday I could see this happening but in this new PG era WWE has to tread lightly if they even want to approach the idea. If they are going to do it start off with a diverse Nu Nation ie: an Owen Hart or they're going to look like a bunch of racists like the Old Nation looked.

I don't think a JTG heel turn is out of the question. NXT seems to be used as a platform for testing the waters for certain ideas. Hell, the Michael Cole heel persona was first tested on NXT way before he carried it over to Raw... and that's just one example.

In fact, maybe it would be a great idea to pair JTG with Truth on Raw. With Truth now playing the "conspiracy" card, could the E be planting the seeds for a new faction? I mean, they had similar characters... always dancing, fun loving, crowd interaction guys... maybe both of them are sick of not getting their just due. Add the returning Michael Tarver to the mix, and you may even have an "NOD-esque" type of faction... not so much playing the race card, but the conspiracy card. Might make for some interesting tv!

Thee WWE was PG all the way through 1997 though, and that was the year where Nation Of Domination were really race-oriented. The angle where DX accused the New Hart Foundation of being KKK members and using the n-word was in '97. So they could get away with it under the PG banner. Now whether or not that fits in with their current agenda of appealing to kids and sponsors is a different story. I'm just pointing out that you can get away with some pretty edgy stuff on TV-PG (I for one thought that Straight Edge Society was very edgy at times).

Now I think that JTG should turn heel. He can join Mark Henry and Michael Tarver for race-themed stable...but I'll keep dreaming.

Idk, it would be a fresh turn, seeing as his whole career has been as a face. I believe, if done right, his could be a successful heel, possibly capturing some mid-card gold.

SN: (Just stating an observation) Is it me, or are most the African American wrestlers starting to become heel in the WWE? (Zeke, R Truth, JTG, Mark Henry, Alicia Fox) not counting NXT wrestlers. Just saying!

JTG will be future endeavoured by the end of the year regardless of a heel turn.there's a lot more talented performers being underused than him

IVE ALWAYS LIKED JTG. AND IM STARTING TO LIKE THE IDEA OF A TEAM WITH ZEKE TRUTH JTG AND HENRY. ZEKE IS JUST GETTING OUT OF A STABLE THO SO HES STAYING SOLO FOR AWHILE. AT THE MOST ID SAY ITS A NEW HEEL TAG TEAM WE MIGHT SEE WITH TRUTH AND JTG SINCE THEYRE BOTH ON RAW.

I've been hoping for some sort of a Nation of Domination stable re-birth for some time now and I think the pieces are there to make it happen. They should have a segment this week on RAW by having JTG go up to R-Truth in the locker room and basically say that he agrees with Truth and that this is all a conspiracy and that he has been screwed and he thinks he knows why. Then he hints to it being racial and Truth agrees. Truth will then later get screwed somehow in a match later that night and JTG runs out and meets him on the ramp as Truth is going beserk and then JTG whispers something in his ear and Truth smiles. Then he gets back on the Mic and says enough is enough and to the anonymous GM that he and JTG are demanding a trade to Smackdown and will not compete on RAW until such a move is done. They then get traded for Brodus Clay and Alex Riley, who now don't have to be officially on Smackdown but always appearing on RAW. Then on Smackdown, Ezekiel Jackson is facing Wade Barrett in a non title match and the rest of The Corre come down to interfere when JTG and R-Truth come down. They come down and fend off The Corre, helping up Zeke. He looks at them, and they throw the fists up. Zeke then joins them and you have the re-birth of the NOD with Zeke, Truth and JTG. Then in the coming weeks they would get Mark Henry and then reveal Teddy Long as the mastermind behind it all because he was tired of seeing all of his brothas mistreated and took it upon himself to restore some order and pride.

Are you serious?

This is absolutely ridiculous. A heel stable which hints at racism playing out to where an actual (if on-screen only) authority figure AFFIRMS it!!! Insane. I'm sure THAT'S the image WWE wants to have.

As far as a heel turn. Seeing as he's pretty pointless as a face, why not! Can't get any worse for him.

You do realize that the alleged "affirming" authority figure is BLACK, right? You can't affirm something you're the victim of. Having an authority figure affirm it would be the anonymous Raw GM sending an e-mail that says "Yeap, I've been mistreating you because you're black, and I'm going to continue to do so." Oh, by the way, this wouldn't even be the first time this authority figure fought against racism. Teddy Long ran that angle years ago with Rodney Mack.

As for JTG, he's a great example of the WWE breaking up an established tag team too soon. Cryme Tyme should still be together right now. It doesn't matter if he's a face or heel.

If JTG turned heel, wouldnt that just make him R-Truth? I've never been a fan of his character & I hated Cryme Tyme. Personally, I think he needs to be completely repackaged with a new look and name. The WWE needs another black street thug about as bad as they need a white cowboy, an asian karate master, or a mexican luchadore on riding lawnmower. Its time they stepped outside of the racist stereotypes of a bygone era.

it wasnt the fans who made cryme tyme face..... vince made them face....even in their pre debut videos, it screamed face.....they were made to be too over the top and come off as cool... there wasnt one thing that said we are the bad guys...they were targeting the urban/wanna be urban fanbase...... i had no problem with shads character but jtg was insanely over the top , so much in fact idk how vince never got slammed majorly with how the character was portrayed....... ive said this since day 1.....c.t would of been FAR more successful if they went with shads last gimmick in ovw, as the h.n.i.c. ... shad got alot of flack, but honestly i think at a point he just said screw it, he saw how c.t. was and just lost interest.

as far as jtg...... i THINK he could possibly be joing r-truth...truth said something on raw that very much sparked a interest......after the whole consipracy angle he said something like "its all of u against me, wellim gonna even the sides" or something to the fact of he may be getting someone else to join him.... obv by him saying conspiracy there going by race, which means a n.o.d. revival isnt out of the ?, bc im pretty sure thats howt he original started.( and pretty much which lead to ahmed joining as it was a conspiracy he never got a wwf title shot)

What i was thinking if JTG does go heel he should join Truth an instead of an all black stable add in someone from overs like Drew Mcyntier (IDk how to spell his name) it would give him something to do for now.

As for a JTG heel would be better then him as a face. i prefer heels over faces anyway.

Idk just my two cents lol

I'm a big fan of JTGs in ring style. I think a heel turn would be a perfect excuse to change his absolutely awful gimmick. His stupid looking glasses, his stupid looking clothes, his absurd vocabulary... they're all things that make it hard for people to take him seriously. He's one of those wrestlers that would be amazing in a cruiser-weight division (a whole other discussion entirely). I think a new nation would be horrible as well. The biggest problem with JTG is how ridiculously stereotypical he acts and joining a blacks-only faction is continuing to go down the wrong path. His in ring talent deserves more than that, and a cruiser-weight division would help him far more than a black faction.

JTG with Zeke, Henry and Truth...holy crap that could be a form of the new Nation of Domination. Why not. Give the black community soemthing to watch. I know that's awful and sounds racist but give it to them and let them run with it.

JTG has been face his entire WWE career and not much has happened, so lets try something else. See what he can do with it. Truth is doing fine in the early going with his heel turn. Put JTG and Truth together.

As soon as Cryme Tyme broke up I honestly stopped caring, not that I cared much in the first place. I do think I heel turn could work out for him though, with Truth recently turning heel I could see them working together. Bring them together if Truth doesnt get pushed to a singles title, but if he does then just send JTG after McIntyre and have him get crushed.

I Was Waiting For Someone To Post This Thread... JTG As A Heel Is Interesting But I Was Thinking Truth Should Lead A Stable With JTG, Drew Mcintyre & Dolph Ziggler..... Add Vickie Guerroe As Manager And You Got Enough Heat To Warm Up The Whole Place.....

R-Truth - As Leader Of The Faction, Because His Promo's Have Been Top Notch
Dolph Ziggler - He Was In A World Heavyweight Match On Smackdown.. Since Coming To Raw He's Been Held Back
Drew Mcintyre (Enforcer) - Got A Nasty Side To Him And Can Be Brutal (Elimination Chamber Last Year)
JTG - If His Heel Turn On NXT Is Gonna Stay...

Manager
-----------
None Other Then Heat Magnet... VICKIE GUERROE

This is doomed to fail because the race card isnt an issue that can be used this days with the WWE being PG. This is something that is too real to use. This is a program where people come to suspend their disbelief the last thing they needed is to see is that racism plays a key part in getting ahead in the wrestling game.

Wrong! Go Back to they're OVW days when Shad was the HNIC ( Head N**** In Charge ) that was a heel Persona but when they got the call and word got out about Cryme TYme Vince had to turn them face.
